Getting Started
Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds. You will hear sound prompts, and the ANC button will flash white, indicating pairing mode.
- Power Off: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. You will hear a sound prompt, and the white light on the ANC button will turn off.
Pairing
- Ensure TREBLAB U5 headphones are charged and the AUX cable is not plugged in.
- Press the POWER button for 2 seconds. You will hear sound prompts, and the ANC button will start flashing white, indicating pairing mode.
- Activate the wireless communication function on your smart device and keep it within 3 feet (1 meter) from TREBLAB U5 while pairing.
- Scan/search for available devices on your smart device.
- Select TREBLAB U5 from the device list.
- If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
- Once successfully paired and connected, you will hear a "beep" sound prompt, and the ANC button will show a steady white light.
Multipoint Connection
The TREBLAB U5 headphones support connecting to two devices simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between them. To connect to a second device:
- Temporarily switch off the wireless mode on the first device the headphones are connected to.
- Repeat pairing steps 2-6 to connect the second device.
- Turn on the wireless communication function on the first device and connect the U5 again.
When turned on, the headphones will attempt to reconnect to the last connected devices. They can save up to the last 6 devices.
Features and Operations
Gaming Mode
TREBLAB U5 headphones support gaming mode to reduce audio latency to 60 ms, improving video/audio synchronization for gaming and video watching. To enable, double-press the POWER button (one-tone prompt, lower latency). To disable, double-press the POWER button again (two-tone prompt, standard 200 ms latency). Note: Connection range is shorter in gaming mode.
Audio Playback
- Pause/Resume Playback: Click the POWER button.
- Adjust Volume: Click the VOLUME + button to turn volume up, or VOLUME - button to turn volume down.
- Change Tracks: Press and hold VOLUME + for 1 second for the next track, or press and hold VOLUME - for 1 second for the previous track.
AUX Line-In Connection
Connect TREBLAB U5 to devices using the supplied AUX cable. Plug the Type-C end into the Type-C port on the right earcup and the 3.5 mm AUX end into your device's port. Remote control functions (NEXT, PREVIOUS, PAUSE, VOLUME) are not supported via AUX cable; use your smart device for adjustments.
ANC/Ambient Sound Modes
The headphones feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation. ANC mode reduces surrounding noise. Ambient Sound mode amplifies frequencies to help you hear voices. When turned on, ANC mode is enabled automatically. To switch to Ambient Sound mode, press the ANC button once. To disable both modes, press the ANC button once again.
Sound prompts for ANC modes: ANC on - "whap"; Ambient Sound - "ring-ring"; ANC off - "dong-dong". Ensure ANC microphone holes are unblocked when using these functions.
Phone Calls
TREBLAB U5 can be used for wireless phone calls; audio playback pauses during calls.
- Answer a call: Press the POWER button during an incoming call.
- Reject a call: Press and hold the POWER button for 1 second during an incoming call.
- End a call: Press the POWER button during a conversation.
Voice Assistant Activation
To use voice assistants, press and hold the ANC button for 1 second. You can then transmit voice commands using the inbuilt microphone.
Reset Memory List
To reset the headphones to factory default settings (clearing the pairing list of the last 6 devices):
- Turn the headphones on and ensure they are disconnected from any device.
- Press and hold the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- The headphones will restart, and the device memory will be reset to factory settings.
Charging and Battery
A low battery is indicated by a sound prompt resembling a busy tone. To charge, plug the supplied cable into the Type-C charging port on the right earcup and the other end into a standard USB port. The LED indicator will turn RED while charging and BLUE when fully charged. Charging takes up to 4 hours. Use a 5V DC, 0.5-2A adapter. Using lower power sources may increase charging time. Unplug the cable when not in use. To maintain battery life, charge the TREBLAB U5 fully at least twice a month.
