A&E Specifications
The driver unit is designed for broadcasting speech and music internally and externally, featuring a smooth frequency response from 150 Hz to 8 kHz. It produces a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 110 dB on axis at 1 meter with a 1-watt power input and can handle 60 watts of continuous power. The unit includes an integral 60-watt dual voltage line transformer for 70 V or 100 V applications. It offers four impedance levels for 70 V line (83 Ω, 170 Ω, 330 Ω, 670 Ω) and three for 100 V line (170 Ω, 330 Ω, 670 Ω). The driver unit utilizes a newly developed polyimide ring-type diaphragm for improved frequency characteristics. The housing consists of a grey aluminum, powder-coated flange and an ABS resin rear cover, complying with IP65 dust and water ingress protection rating when operated with a standard horn. The unit operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to +55 °C (-4 °F to +131 °F) and weighs 2.7 kg (5.95 lb). Dimensions are Ø139 x 151 mm (Ø5.47" x 5.94"). Applicable horns include the TH-650 and TH-660 manufactured by TOA Corporation. An optional driver unit cover, UC-200A, is also available from TOA Corporation.
