Installation Instruction for V455846
A Dual Flush Toilet Mechanism
Installation Steps
-
Step 1a: Detach the Flush Valve Base
Hold the base of the flush valve and rotate the body counterclockwise. Take it out from the base.
(Diagram shows the base of the flush valve being rotated counterclockwise to detach the body.)
-
Step 2a: Remove Hex Nut and Collar
Remove the hex nut and nut collar from the flush valve base. Do not remove the seal.
(Diagram shows the hex nut and collar being removed from the flush valve base.)
-
Step 3a: Insert Valve into Tank
Insert the flush valve's base into the water tank. Screw on the nut collar and hex nut properly.
(Diagram shows the flush valve base being inserted into the water tank and secured with the collar and nut.)
-
Step 4a: Attach Flush Valve Body
Take the body of the flush valve and set it into the base and lock it in place by rotating it clockwise.
(Diagram shows the flush valve body being placed onto the base and rotated clockwise to lock.)
-
Step 5a: Insert Tank-to-Bowl Gasket
Insert the tank-to-bowl rubber gasket onto the flush valve's outlet bottom.
(Diagram shows the rubber gasket being placed on the bottom outlet of the flush valve.)
-
Step 6a: Mount Tank to Bowl
Take the water tank and put it on the toilet bowl. Ensure the rubber gasket seats correctly in the bowl's recess. Fasten the tank to the bowl using the provided plastic or stainless steel bolts. Ensure the bolts have the black rubber washer under the bolt head. Align the tank and bowl holes. Insert the bolts through the holes, place washers on the bolts, and screw on the nuts.
(Diagram shows the water tank being placed on the toilet bowl and secured with bolts, washers, and nuts.)
-
Step 1b: Adjust Partial Flush Volume
Adjust the partial flush volume by sliding the white float cup up or down. When the float cup is higher, the discharge water volume is less during flushing. To set the correct water volume for a partial flush, a vortex should form in the bowl when flushing.
(Diagram shows a close-up of the float cup being adjusted up or down to control partial flush volume.)
-
Step 2b: Adjust Full Flush Volume
Adjust the full flush volume by sliding the green float cup up or down. When the float cup is higher, the water volume is less, and the flush time is shorter. Gradually adjust the red float cup until sufficient water is flushed to clean the bowl.
(Diagram shows a close-up of the float cups being adjusted to control full flush volume.)
-
Step 1c: Insert Bracket and Adjust Height
Insert the bracket into the appropriate position of the flush valve and adjust its height as required.
(Diagram shows the bracket being inserted and adjusted for the flush valve.)
-
Step 2c: Remove Key Stroke from Body
Take out the key stroke from the body.
(Diagram shows the key stroke being removed from the flush valve body.)
-
Step 3c: Cover Tank and Attach Key Stroke
Cover the lid of the tank and screw the key stroke into the thread of the bracket. Check and ensure the function of the push button is normal without any interference.
(Diagram shows the tank lid being placed and the key stroke being screwed into the bracket, followed by a check of the button function.)
-
Step 4c: Product Ready for Use
The product is ready for use.
(Diagram shows the completed installation.)
