  • Low Power Indication: When the buzzer beeps once and the fingerprint identification area flashes green then red, recharge the lock. Connect a power bank to the Type-C interface for charging.
  • Restore the Factory Setting: Unlock the smart lock (via app or fingerprint). Rotate the thumb turn from the circular mark to the unlock sign on the left, then return it to the circular mark. Repeat this 5 times. Then, conduct the same operation towards the right for 5 times. A long beep and a green flashing fingerprint area indicate successful reset. All fingerprints will then unlock the lock.

  • Normal Mode: Rotate the thumb turn to the circular mark above it. The door knob automatically locks in 5 seconds after unlocking. Both members and administrators can unlock with their fingerprints.
  • Passage Mode: Rotate the thumb turn to the unlock sign on the left. The door knob remains unlocked.
  • Privacy Mode: Rotate the thumb turn to the lock sign on the right. Members and administrators can unlock via app. Only administrators' fingerprints can unlock.

FAQ

  • Q: Why can't the door lock recognize my fingerprint or fail to unlock with the App?
A: Ensure your finger and the sensing area are clean and dry. Capture fingerprints at different angles and positions for better scanning. Elderly and children may have difficulty with fingerprint recognition; keep fingers clean before unlocking.
  • Q: If the batteries die, how can I open the door?
A: The smart door knob has a built-in rechargeable battery. Use an emergency power supply via the USB A+Type C port or use the backup key to open the door.
  • Q: After installing the new lock, what should I do to pair and set it up?
A: This smart knob is controlled by the Bluetooth Smart Life app. Ensure Bluetooth and Location permissions are enabled for the app. Touch the fingerprint sensor to wake the smart lock. If multiple users manage one lock, only one user can connect at a time.
  • Q: Why is my Smart Lock low-powered?
A: Charge the lock for 3-4 hours before installation. A low battery warning (green light followed by flashing red light upon unlocking) indicates the need for charging.
  • Q: What can I do if the smart knob locks me out after several incorrect inputs?
A: For user safety, if you enter the wrong fingerprint five times consecutively, the lock enters security mode and stops accepting fingerprints. To exit this mode: 1. Unlock via app. 2. Unlock via backup key. 3. Wait for 2 minutes.
