Fujifilm GFX 100RF: New Features and Smartphone Connectivity
This document outlines the new features, modifications, and deletions introduced in firmware version 1.10 for the Fujifilm GFX 100RF digital camera. It also provides instructions for establishing a Bluetooth connection with a smartphone.
Firmware Version 1.10 Overview
The functionalities detailed below have been added, removed, or updated in firmware version 1.10 for the GFX100RF. For the latest comprehensive manual, please visit the Fujifilm website.
Important Note: Updating the firmware will reset the connection mode setting to its default value if 'WIRELESS CONNECTION' is selected in the network/USB settings. Please configure the settings according to the external device you wish to connect.
Summary of Changes:
- COM. SANS FIL (Wireless Connection) has been removed from the following settings: PICTURE FIRING, FILM CONFIGURATION, and PLAYBACK.
- IMPRESS. IMPRIM instax (instax Print) has been removed from PLAYBACK.
- The pairing procedure between the camera and smartphone has been modified.
- RÉGL CNX IMPRIM instax (instax Print Connection Setting) has been removed from the network/USB settings menu.
- COM. SANS FIL (Wireless Connection) has been removed from the assignable functions in
[Fn] SETTING > FUNCTION SETTING (Fn).
- COM. SANS FIL (Wireless Connection) has been removed from
[Fn] SETTING > SET Fn BUTTON 1.
- Fujifilm accessories such as "instax SHARE SP-1/SP-2/SP-3" printers are no longer supported.
Connecting to a Smartphone via Bluetooth
Pair your camera with your smartphone and establish a Bluetooth connection.
- When the shooting information is displayed, press the DISP/BACK button.

- Highlight Bluetooth and press MENU/OK.

- Highlight PAIRING and press MENU/OK.

- Launch the smartphone application and proceed with pairing the camera to display a code on both the smartphone and the camera. Verify that the two codes are identical before proceeding with pairing. A smartphone icon and a white Bluetooth icon will appear on the camera's screen once a connection is established.

Additional Notes:
- Once devices are paired, the smartphone will automatically connect to the camera when the application is launched.
- When the camera is not connected to a smartphone, you can disable Bluetooth to reduce battery consumption.
