Ashley Signature Design B089 Series Upholstered Bed Assembly Instructions
Important Safety Information
Please read the following safety notices carefully before beginning assembly:
- Always use the proper tools.
- Follow the assembly steps in order; do not skip any steps.
- Check all packing materials for small parts that may have come loose. Contact the retailer for missing parts; do not use substitute parts.
- Periodically check that all connectors (bolts, screws, etc.) are tight.
- Keep instructions for future reference.
- Handle glass or mirrors with extreme care to avoid severe injury if they break. Never handle large pieces of glass or mirrors alone.
- When assembling products with electrical cords, ensure the cord is unplugged before assembly and be careful not to twist it during assembly.
- Do not stand on lower shelves to assemble upper shelves; use a step ladder.
- Do not stand on tables, as they are not designed to support a person's weight.
- If assembly requires two or more people, do not attempt it alone due to the risk of injury.
- This unit should be assembled by two or more people.
- Do not tighten any bolts until all bolts have been started.

Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Attach Part E to Part A
Attach part E to part A using six S screws (5/16"x65mm).
Step 2: Attach Part A/E to Headboard
Attach the assembled part A/E unit to the headboard panel using four R screws (5/16"x20mm).
Step 3: Connect Part B to Part F
Connect part B to part F using two S screws (5/16"x65mm).
Step 4: Attach Assembly to Frame
Attach the assembly from step 3 to the frame using four R screws (5/16"x20mm).
Step 5: Attach Side Rails
Attach side rails (parts C and D) to the frame using Z/AA connectors and eight R screws (5/16"x20mm).
Step 6: Attach Support Beams
Attach support beams (part H) to the frame using twenty-four Y screws (1/4"x35mm).
Step 7: Attach Remaining Side Rails
Attach side rails (parts C and D) to the frame using eight Y screws (1/4"x35mm).
Step 8: Connect Frame to Headboard
Connect the main frame structure to the headboard using part G, AB connector, and two Y screws (1/4"x35mm).
Step 9: Install Center Support Beam
Install the center support beam (part L) using two W bolts (1/4"x45mm), one AC wrench (M10), two U washers (1/4"), and two AD nuts (1/4").
Step 10: Secure Bed Slats
Secure the bed slats (parts J and K) to the frame using four P screws (1/4"x80mm).
Step 11: Final Frame Tightening
Secure the frame to the headboard and footboard using six W bolts (1/4"x45mm).
Step 12: Final Assembly View
The bed is now fully assembled. Refer to the illustrations for the final appearance.
Important Moving Note
Note: Always disassemble the bed prior to moving it to a new location.
