Schematic Diagram of Router Connection

The router connects to the ISP Connection Box via the WAN port using an Ethernet cable. The router also has LAN ports (LAN1, LAN2, LAN3) for connecting devices via network cable.

Connection to ISP Connection Box: Using the included Ethernet cable, connect the Router's WAN port to the Ethernet port on your NBN or UFB Connection Box.

Connect Your Device

Connect via Wi-Fi: Connect your device to the Router's Wi-Fi. The default Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password are printed on the label at the back of the Router.

Connect via a Network Cable: Connect your PC to one of the Router's LAN1, LAN2, or LAN3 ports using a network cable.

Setup Options

OPTION 1 - D-LINK WI-FI APP SETUP

Install the D-Link Wi-Fi Connect App from your device's app store.
Connect your phone to the Router's Wi-Fi. The default Wi-Fi Name and password are on the router's label.
Open the D-Link Wi-Fi Connect app. Enter the Router's admin password (factory password is on the router's label).
Tap on the 'Internet Settings' icon to set up your Internet connection. Select your Internet Connection type and enter the required details.
Tap on the 'Wi-Fi Settings' icon to set up your Wi-Fi. Enter your desired Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and assign a secure password.

After completing the Quick Setup, the Router will restart. Reconnect to your Router's Wi-Fi using the new name and password.

OPTION 2 - WEB BROWSER SETUP

You can also use a web browser on your computer or phone to set up the Router.

Connect your computer or phone to the Router's Wi-Fi (details on the router's label) or connect your computer to a LAN port using a network cable.
Open your web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Enter the Router's admin password (factory password is on the router's label).
Click on the 'Internet Settings' icon to set up your Internet connection. Select your Internet Connection type and enter the required details.
Click on the 'Wi-Fi Settings' icon to set up your Wi-Fi. Enter your desired Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and assign a secure password.

After completing the setup, the Router will restart. Reconnect to your Router's Wi-Fi using the new name and password.

OPTIONAL: MESH SETUP

To create a Wi-Fi mesh with multiple D-Link Routers, you can use the Wireless Mesh method or the Wired Mesh method.

Wireless Mesh method: Press the WPS button on both the main router and the satellite router simultaneously to configure the mesh network automatically.

Wired Mesh method: Connect the WAN port of your Satellite Router to one of the LAN ports of the Main Router using an Ethernet cable. The Mesh network will be configured automatically.
