Installation
Antenna Setup
Attach the antennas to the router by twisting them on in a clockwise direction. The diagram illustrates this process, showing the antennas being screwed onto the router's connection points. Keep the router in an open area for better wireless coverage.
Option 1: D-Link Wi-Fi App Setup
1. Download the D-Link Wi-Fi app from the [App Store] or [Google Play] and launch it.
2. Tap "Install New Device". The app interface shows this option prominently. Scan the QR code found on the Quick Installation Card. Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to complete the setup.
Option 2: Web Browser Setup
1. Plug the router into a power source. Ensure the power button is on. Wait for the wireless LEDs to become solid, indicating the router is ready.
2. Connect your computer to the Wi-Fi network using the details printed on the Quick Installation Card (Wi-Fi Name: dlink-XXXX, Wi-Fi Password: XXXXXXXX). Open a web browser and navigate to http://dlinkrouter.local.
or http://192.168.0.1
. The diagram shows a computer screen with this URL entered. You will be prompted for the Device/Admin Password. The default password is "password". Enter it and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Once setup is complete, you can connect your devices using the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password you created during the setup. Enjoy the Internet!

has been correctly entered into your Web browser. Ensure you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi Name/SSID and password printed on the Quick Installation Card.
Why can't I access the Internet?
Ensure your modem/gateway is powered on. Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the router and modem. Check that the Internet LED is illuminated on your router. If you still cannot access the Internet, power off your modem and router, then power them back on. Wait for all LEDs to light up and try again.
What do I do if I forgot my Wi-Fi password?
If you forgot your password, you must reset your router. This process will revert all settings to factory defaults.
How do I restore the router to its factory default settings?
Locate the reset button on the rear panel of the router. With the router powered on, use a paper clip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button, and the router will go through the reset procedure.
