Installation Instructions
Follow these steps for proper installation:
Step 1: Prepare Ceiling Cutout
Mark and cut a circular opening in the ceiling according to the specified dimensions for the chosen model (Ø 68-74 mm for IP44, Ø 87 mm for IP65). Ensure the ceiling material thickness is between 5 mm and 20 mm.
Step 2: Connect Wiring
Feed the power supply cables (Live 'L' and Neutral 'N') through the ceiling opening to the luminaire location.
Step 2a & 2b: Wire Connection
Connect the power supply wires to the luminaire's internal wiring terminals. Ensure correct polarity for Live (L) and Neutral (N) connections.
Step 3: Connect to Luminaire
Connect the power supply wires to the luminaire's integrated connector. A minimum wire length of 100 mm is recommended for connection.
Step 4: Secure Wiring
Step 4a & 4b: Terminal Block and Current Rating
The luminaire is designed for AC 220-240 V and has a total maximum current rating of 1.8 A. Use appropriate wiring for the terminal block. Wire stripping length should be a maximum of 7 mm. The luminaire supports connecting wires from 0.75 mm² up to 1.50 mm².
Connector Type | Wire Gauge | Stripping Length | Capacity (pcs) |
---|---|---|---|
10A C-type | min. 2 x 0.75 mm² | max. 7 mm | 60 |
16A C-type | min. 2 x 1.50 mm² | max. 7 mm | 100 |
Step 5: Select Color Temperature (if applicable)
Some models may feature a switch or selector to choose between different color temperatures, such as 2700K (warm white), 3000K (neutral white), and 4000K (cool white).
Step 6: Install Luminaire into Ceiling
Insert the luminaire body into the prepared ceiling cutout. The luminaire is equipped with spring clips that will secure it in place.
Step 7: Secure Luminaire
The spring clips will engage with the ceiling material, holding the luminaire firmly. Ensure the luminaire is flush with the ceiling surface.
Step 8: Final Appearance
The installed luminaire presents a clean, recessed finish in the ceiling.
