Instructions for Installation and Use

  1. Remove Rumble Seat from box. Bolt legs to rumble seat bottom frame using 4 ea. 5/16" x 2-1/2" bolts, flat washers, and locknuts provided.
  2. Remove female ends of seatbelts from packet and place loop end around ear of seat section. This is the upright where the seat section and backrest section attach together. Repeat for 2nd female end of seatbelt. (See Figure 1 & Figure 2)
  3. Secure back section to bottom seat section using 2 ea. 5/16" x 2 1/2 " bolts, flat washers, and locknuts. Tighten securely. (See Figure 3)
  4. After installing seat belts and attaching seat section and backrest section product will be as pictured in Figure 4.
  5. Attach arm rails to back and seat frames on each side through pre-drilled holes using 4 ea 5/16" x 3 ½" bolts, flat washers and locknuts. Tighten securely. (See Figure 5)
  6. Attach mounting channels to bottom of rumble seat legs using 4 ea. 5/16" x 3" quick pins. NOTE: mounting channels should be held tight against rumble seat legs when marking holes to keep slack out.
  7. Place Rumble Seat with channels attached into the cargo area of utility vehicle with the Rumble Seat back against the cab of the vehicle – seat will be facing the rear. (See Figure 6)
  8. Mark location to drill the holes for attaching the angles to the bed. (See Figure 6)
  9. Remove Rumble Seat and drill the 4 marked locations in the bed of the utility vehicle using a 7/16" drill bit. Be sure to not drill into fuel tank or fuel lines.
  10. Bolt the channels to the bed of the vehicle using 4 ea. 5/16 " x 1" or 4 ea. 5/16 " x 1 ¼" bolts (which ever length is appropriate for vehicle) and 4 ea. 5/16" fender washers (on the underside of cargo bed) and 4 ea. 5/16" locknuts and tighten securely. (See Figure 7)
  11. Attach Rumble Seat to UTV frame using safety attachment straps (See Figures 8 and 9) Put Loop ends around back of Rumble Seat frame and UTV arm rest/seat frame. Secure with quick release buckle. (See Figure 10)
  12. Rumble Seat may be removed from UTV by un-bolting rumble seat from mounting angles.

  • 14 ea. 5/16" Lock Nuts
  • 4 ea. 5/16" Fender Washers
  • 2 ea. Safety Attachment Straps
  • 2 ea. Seat belt buckles & straps
  • 6 ea. 5/16" x 2½" bolts
  • 2 ea. Rumble seat leg Assemblies

WARNINGS

  • Never mount Rumble Seat facing forward (toward the front of the vehicle). Always place back rest against cab.
  • Always wear seat belt while seated in the Rumble Seat.
  • Never use Rumble Seat without safety attaching In place.
  • Never mount the Rumble Seat near the tail gate. Always mount the Rumble Seat with the back rest against cab of UTV.
  • Always check the bed tilting latch and be sure it is locked or latched securely.
  • Never unlock the bed tilting latch while some one is seated in the Rumble Seat.
  • Never allow more than 2 passengers to ride on the Rumble Seat.
