Operation

Preparing for Operation

Ensure surfaces are free from dust, dirt, rust, and grease. Sandpaper may be used for preparation. Mask areas not intended for painting. Proper thinning of paint is crucial for optimal results. Use the provided viscosity cup to test paint thickness. Ideal viscosity is 12-18 seconds for water-based paints and emulsions, and oil-based paints. Wood stains and preservatives may not require dilution.

Filling Sprayer with Paint/Stain

Remove any skin from paint or stain. Mix the material thoroughly. Remove the battery pack. Twist the quick-lock container counterclockwise to remove. Fill the container to the max fill line. Reinstall the container by twisting clockwise until it locks.

Selecting the Proper Spray Tip

To switch tips: Remove battery pack, turn tip counterclockwise to remove, install new tip, and turn clockwise to tighten.

To change fan tip direction: Loosen tip 1/4 turn, rotate adjusting arm 1/4 turn, and tighten tip securely.

Operating the Sprayer

Apply a line of lubricant to the piston. Ensure the surface is clean and masked. Fill the container with paint or stain (max 1 liter). Select the correct spray tip. Install the battery pack. Pull the trigger to spray; release to stop. Practice on scrap material. For consistent spray, maintain a steady arm movement and keep the sprayer at a consistent distance (20-25 cm) from the surface. Use straight horizontal or vertical strokes.

Priming the Pump: Spray for at least 20 seconds after changing paint or after storage.

Lubrication: Apply lubricant to the piston after every 4 refills.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Sprayer for Storage

Thoroughly clean the sprayer after each use or when changing colors. Allow paint or stain to remain in the tool can cause seizing. Do not use flammable liquids for cleaning. Do not spray flammable materials. Be aware of material hazards and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Do not spray unknown materials.

For storage, fill the container with lukewarm water (for water-based products) or paint thinner (for oil-based products). Reinstall the container and battery. Spray the solution until it is used up. Remove battery and container. Clean all parts thoroughly, including the pump housing opening. Reassemble with lubricant on the piston and spring.

Replacing Atomizer Valve Assembly

The atomizer valve may need replacement after 25-35 liters of use. To replace, remove the battery, spray tip, and atomizer valve. Install the new valve and reassemble.
