Unpacking and Installing the Signal Tower Light
Unpacking
Unpack the package and check that the following parts are included:
- Signal tower light: 1
- Installation Guide (this document): 1
Installing the Signal Tower Light
You will need the following tools for installation:
- Phillips-head screw driver (No.2)
- Spanner (wrench size: 7 mm)
⚠️ Caution:
- Before installation, check that the printer's power cord is disconnected.
- At least two people are required for this task.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Remove Printer Lid Screws
Remove the four (x4) screws to detach the black plate lid from the top of the printer.

Step 2: Disconnect Emergency Stop Button Cable
Remove the cable from the terminal of the emergency stop button.

? Important!
- Hold the connector sleeve to remove the cable.
- The terminal of the emergency stop button attached to the lid requires careful handling as it is easily bent.
Step 3: Remove Grommet
Remove the grommet (part ②) from the printer lid.

? Important!
Keep the grommet in a safe place (e.g., in the box of the signal tower light) for future use.
Step 4: Remove Signal Tower Light Nuts
Remove the three (x3) nuts from the screws of the signal tower light.

Step 5: Mount Signal Tower Light
Insert the cable of the signal tower light through the grommet hole in the printer lid. Then, insert the three (x3) screws of the signal tower light into the corresponding screw holes on the printer lid.

? Important!
Install the signal tower light with the Schneider Electric logo facing the front of the printer.

Step 6: Secure Signal Tower Light
Flip the black plate lid back into position. Attach the nuts to the three (x3) screws and then tighten the nuts firmly using the spanner.

Step 7: Connect Signal Tower Light Cable
Connect the cable of the signal tower light to the corresponding cable on the printer.

? Important!
- The cable is wound on a clamp near the black plate lid of the top cover. Please do not unwind it from the clamp when connecting the cable.
- The cable is short. When connecting, ensure that one person holds the black plate lid while the signal tower light is being installed.
Step 8: Reconnect Emergency Stop Button Cable
Connect the cable that was removed in Step 2 back to the terminal of the emergency stop button.

? Important!
- When connecting, make sure to hold the connector sleeve and then connect to the terminal. The terminal is non-polar.
- The terminal of the emergency stop button attached to the lid requires careful handling as it is easily bent.
- The cable is short. When connecting, ensure that one person holds the black plate lid while the signal tower light is being installed.
Step 9: Reattach Printer Lid
Use the four (x4) screws that were removed in Step 1 to attach the black plate lid back to the printer.

? Important!
Troubleshooting: In case the error [E234] appears after the printer is powered on, there might be a problem with the emergency stop button. Check that the emergency stop button is not pressed and the cable is connected firmly to the terminal.
