Getting Started: Setting Up Your Pitcher
Follow these simple steps to set up your Beautiful by PUR pitcher.
- Step 1: Lid Removal
Lift the tab to unlock and remove the lid. To replace the lid, ensure the tab is locked in place.
- Step 2: Filter Light Removal
Before washing, remove the filter light from the underside of the lid. Pull back on the tab and lift to detach the light. Remember to replace it before using the pitcher.
- Step 3: Filter Preparation and Installation
Rinse the filter under cool running water for 15 seconds. Then, install the filter into the pitcher, twist it, and lock it into place to ensure proper alignment.
- Step 4: Resetting the Filter Indicator
Hold the reset button for 10 seconds until the indicator light blinks green. This signals that the filter system is ready.
- Step 5: Filling and Enjoying
Fill the reservoir with cool tap water and enjoy your filtered water!
Product Tip
The pitcher features a modern, semi-translucent finish, offering an elegant upgrade from traditional pitchers. For an accurate view of the water level, it is best observed from the side or through the fill door.
Filter Usage and Maintenance
- Filter Light Indicator: The filter light flashes green with every pour, indicating normal operation. When the light flashes red, it's time to replace the filter. Reset the light after each filter change.
- Filter Lifespan: Each filter is designed to last up to 2 months.

- Filter Capacity: 40 gallons (151 liters), lasting up to 2 months.
- Maximum Water Temperature: 82°F (28°C)
- Minimum Water Temperature: 34°F (2°C)
- Filter Compatibility: Be sure to use PUR Genuine Replacement Filters. All PUR filters are designed to fit in all Beautiful™ by PUR Pitchers.
- Available Filter Models: PUR PPF900Z™ (Included with system) and PUR PLUS CRF-950Z (Certified with system, sold separately).

Disclaimer: This Beautiful™ by PUR Pitcher is not intended to purify water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after using the system. PUR filters do not filter microbes.
