Steering Wheel Adjustment
It is prohibited to adjust the steering wheel position while the vehicle is in motion.
- To unlock the column, move the lever down as far as possible. To lock the column, move the lever up as far as possible.
- Select the optimal position by moving the steering column up/down, towards you, and away from you.
- Press to activate the steering wheel heating. Press again to deactivate.
Power Steering System
A malfunction in the power steering system is indicated by a message on the information display, accompanied by the illumination of the amber warning light. Refer to section 70, 'General warning/information messages (amber)' for details. This may be accompanied by a reduction in the effectiveness of the power steering system. A malfunction may be caused by overheating due to intensive use of the steering wheel or high ambient temperatures.
Once the system has cooled down, the power steering system functions should be restored automatically. If the power steering system functions do not restore automatically, consult your dealer or an authorized Land Rover workshop.
