Synchronization
This procedure is used if the time on the digital display does not match the hands, or if the hands are not precisely at 12 o'clock in setting mode. Diagrams show a sequence of button presses (6-second press, 2-second press, 4-second press) to synchronize the hands.
Watch Care and Maintenance
Energy Saving Mode
If the watch is not to be worn for several weeks, it is recommended to activate the energy saving mode before storing it. This stops power to the oscillator, prolonging battery life. Diagrams show entering and exiting standby/waiting mode.
General Care Instructions
Regular cleaning with a soft cloth dampened with warm soapy water is recommended (except for leather straps). Rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly after contact with salt water. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, and magnetic fields. It is recommended to have the watch serviced every 3-4 years at an authorized Tissot service center to maintain warranty and ensure optimal technical service. Tissot quartz watches offer exceptional accuracy, with a typical battery life of over two years.
Battery Replacement
When the battery reaches its end-of-life (EOL), the display will flash and backlight intensity will decrease. If the battery is completely depleted (EOE), the watch automatically enters energy saving mode. The battery must be replaced by authorized Tissot service center specialists. The battery type is a CR2032 lithium coin cell.
End-of-Life and Disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with household waste. Quartz watches must be returned to a local authorized collection and recycling center. This contributes to protecting the environment and human health, and helps conserve natural resources. *This provision applies only to EU member states and other countries with corresponding legislation.
