Thank you for purchasing an Olmo air conditioning system. Please read this manual carefully before operating your new air conditioning unit. Make sure to save this manual for future reference.

Remote Controller Overview
The remote controller transmits signals to the air conditioning system.
POWER: Starts or stops the appliance. The appliance will start when energized or stop when in operation.
MODE: Press to select the operation mode.
TEMP. Δ / ▽: Used to adjust the room temperature and the timer, also real time.
FAN SPEED: Used to select fan speed in sequence: Auto, Higher, High, Medium, Low, Lower.
SLEEP: Used to set or cancel Sleep Mode operation.
SMART (invalid for some models): Used to enter fuzzy logic operation directly, regardless of whether the unit is on or off. This mode automatically adjusts operation mode, temperature, wind speed, and direction for optimal comfort.
SUPER: Used to start or stop fast cooling/heating. Fast cooling operates at high fan speed with a 61°F set temperature automatically. Fast heating operates at auto fan speed with an 86°F set temperature automatically.
SWING (invalid for some models): Used to stop or start vertical adjustment of the louver for airflow direction control.
IFEEL: Used to set IFEEL mode operation. The remote controller's built-in temperature sensor senses the surrounding temperature and transmits the signal to the unit to adjust the temperature for maximum comfort.
CLOCK: Used to set the current time.
CLEAN mode (invalid for some models): When the air conditioner is in standby and in Cooling or Dry mode, press the QUIET button for 5 seconds to start Clean mode. A "Clean" indicator will display on the LCD.
TIMER ON: Used to set or cancel the timer operation to turn the unit on at a desired time.
TIMER OFF: Used to set or cancel the timer operation to turn the unit off at a desired time.
QUIET (invalid for some models): Used to set or cancel Quiet Mode operation for low noise performance.
ECONOMY (invalid for some models): Used to set or cancel Economy Mode operation for energy saving.
LOCK mode: Press TIMER ON and TIMER OFF buttons together for 2 seconds to start LOCK mode. The lock indicator appears on the display. Press again to cancel.
DIMMER (invalid for some models): Press to turn off the unit's lights and display. Receiving a signal will turn the lights back on.
HI-NANO mode (invalid for some models): Press QUIET and DIMMER buttons together for 3 seconds to start or cancel HI-NANO mode.
46°F HEAT mode (invalid for some models): Used to set 46°F heating mode. Fan speed is set to "AUTO" automatically.
Power control mode: In Cooling mode, press ECONOMY button for about 5 seconds to start Power control mode.

How to Use the Remote Controller
Inserting Batteries
- Remove the battery cover according to the arrow direction.
- Insert new LR03 AAA (1.5volt) batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Reattach the cover by sliding it back into position.
Note: Do not use rechargeable batteries. Replace batteries with new ones when the display dims.
Storage and Tips
The remote controller can be stored mounted on a wall with a holder (optional part).
Operating the Air Conditioner
Aim the remote controller at the signal receptor of the indoor unit. The remote controller operates at a distance of up to 7 meters.
CAUTIONS:
- Keep the signal receiver away from direct sunlight, strong lights, or heat sources.
- Avoid placing the receiver near flat panel televisions or other electrical appliances that may interfere with remote signals.
- Ensure curtains, doors, or other materials do not block the signals between the remote controller and the indoor unit. If transmission is poor, reposition the materials or consult your dealer.
Operation Instructions
Selecting Mode
Press the MODE button repeatedly. The operation modes change in sequence: COOLING, DRY, FAN ONLY, HEATING.
Note: Heating mode is not available for cooling-only air conditioners.
FAN Mode
Press the FAN SPEED button repeatedly. The fan speed changes in sequence: Auto, Higher, High, Medium, Low, Lower.
Note: In "FAN ONLY" mode, "AUTO" is not available. In "DRY" mode, fan speed is automatically set to "AUTO", and the FAN button is ineffective.
Setting Temperature
Press the TEMP. Δ button to raise the temperature setting by 1°F.
Press the TEMP. ▽ button to lower the temperature setting by 1°F.
Note: Press and hold the TEMP. Δ and TEMP. ▽ buttons together for 3 seconds to switch between °C and °F display.
Note: In "Dry" mode, temperature can be adjusted by 7°F up or down for comfort.
Turning On
Press the POWER button. The RUN indicator on the indoor unit will light up.
Note: Changing modes during operation may sometimes result in a delayed response. Wait 3 minutes. During heating, airflow is not discharged immediately; it starts after 2-5 minutes when the indoor heat exchanger warms up. Wait 3 minutes before restarting the appliance.
Airflow Direction Control
Vertical Airflow
Vertical airflow is automatically adjusted based on the operation mode. In COOLING and DRY modes, airflow is horizontal. In HEATING and FAN ONLY modes, airflow is downward.
You can adjust airflow direction using the SWING button.
- Press the SWING button once: The vertical adjustment louver swings up and down automatically.
- Press and hold the SWING button for 5 seconds: The vertical adjustment louver swings up and down at a smaller angle.
- Press the SWING button again: The louvers adjust to a suitable angle.
Note: Do not manually adjust the vertical louvers, as this may cause malfunction. If this occurs, turn off the unit, cut off power, then restore power.
Note: Avoid tilting the vertical adjustment louver downward for extended periods in COOLING or DRY mode to prevent condensation dripping.
Horizontal Airflow
You can adjust horizontal airflow direction using the SWING button.
- Press the SWING button once: The horizontal adjustment louver swings left and right automatically.
- Press the SWING button again: The louvers adjust to a suitable angle.
Note: If the unit does not have four-way airflow function, you can adjust horizontal airflow manually.
SMART Mode
In SMART mode, the system automatically adjusts operation mode, temperature, wind speed, and direction for optimal comfort.
How to Set SMART Mode
Press the SMART button. The unit enters SMART mode (fuzzy logic operation). Temperature and fan speed are automatically set based on the actual room temperature.

Note: SMART button is ineffective in SUPER mode. ECONOMY button is ineffective in SMART mode. Press MODE button to cancel SMART mode.
Note: You can adjust temperature by -2 to 2 for on/off models or -7 to 7 for inverter models if you feel uncomfortable.
CLOCK Button
How to Adjust Real Time
- Press the CLOCK button. The time flashes on the LCD.
- Press the TEMP. Δ or TEMP. ▽ buttons to adjust the time. Press once for 1-minute increments. Press and hold for 10-minute or 1-hour increments.
- Press the CLOCK button again to confirm. The real time is set.
CLEAN Mode
When the air conditioner is in standby and in Cooling or Dry mode, press the QUIET button for 5 seconds to start Clean mode. The "Clean" indicator will display on the LCD.
Note: Clean mode is ineffective in SUPER mode. Press ON/OFF, SMART, or MODE to exit Clean mode.
SUPER Mode
SUPER mode is used for fast cooling or heating. The SUPER indicator will display on the LCD.
How to Set SUPER Mode
- Cooling, Dry, or Fan Only Mode: Press the SUPER button. The fan speed is set to high, and the temperature is automatically set to 61°F.
- Heat Mode: Press the SUPER button. The fan speed is set to auto, and the temperature is automatically set to 86°F.
How to Cancel SUPER Mode
Press SUPER, MODE, FAN, ON/OFF, QUIET, or SLEEP button. The display returns to the original mode.
Note: SMART button is not available in SUPER mode. ECONOMY button is ineffective in SUPER mode.
Power Control Mode
In Cooling mode, press the ECONOMY button for about 5 seconds to start Power control mode (low fan speed). Press again to stop.
Pressing the ECONOMY button once cycles through power levels: 75%, 55%, 35%.
Note: Power control mode is ineffective in SUPER or ECONOMY mode. Other buttons except Swing, Dimmer, IFEEL, Clock, Timer On/Off, and Fan can exit Power control mode.
46°F HEAT Mode
This mode sets the air conditioner to a 46°F heating mode. Fan speed is automatically set to "AUTO".
How to Set 46°F HEAT Mode
Press the TEMP. Δ and TEMP. ▽ buttons together for about 2 seconds while in heating mode.
How to Cancel 46°F HEAT Mode
Press any button except TIMER ON, CLOCK, IFEEL, or DIMMER.
Note: In 46°F HEAT mode, the default temperature is 46°F. This mode can only be set when the air conditioner is in heating mode.
TIMER Mode
How to Set TIMER ON
- Press the TIMER ON button. "ON 12:00" flashes on the LCD.
- Press the TEMP. Δ or TEMP. ▽ buttons to set the desired time.
- Press the TIMER ON button again to confirm. A beep will be heard, "ON" stops flashing, and the TIMER indicator lights up.
- The set timer will be displayed for 5 seconds, then the clock will be displayed.
How to Cancel TIMER ON
Press the TIMER ON button again. A beep will be heard, the indicator disappears, and the timer mode is canceled.
Note: TIMER OFF works similarly to set the appliance to switch off automatically.
QUIET Mode
In QUIET mode, the air conditioner operates with low noise performance.
Note: Pressing MODE, FAN, SMART, POWER, ECONOMY, QUIET, or SUPER buttons cancels QUIET mode.
ECONOMY Mode
ECONOMY mode provides energy savings through lower running currency.
Note: ECONOMY button is ineffective in SMART, SUPER, and Power control mode. Pressing ON/OFF, MODE, TEMP, FAN, SLEEP, QUIET, or ECONOMY button cancels ECONOMY mode. Pressing and holding QUIET and ECONOMY buttons together for 3 seconds alternates between cooling-only and cooling/heating modes.
IFEEL Mode
The temperature sensor in the remote controller activates to sense the surrounding temperature and transmit the signal to the unit, allowing it to adjust the temperature for maximum comfort.
How to Set IFEEL Mode
Press the IFEEL button once. The "transmit signal" indicator appears, and IFEEL function starts.
Note: Place the remote controller where the indoor unit can easily receive the signal. Cancel IFEEL mode when the air conditioner is off to save energy.
How to Cancel IFEEL Mode
Press the IFEEL button again. The "transmit signal" indicator disappears, and IFEEL function is shut off.
Dimmer Button
Press the DIMMER button to turn off the unit's lights and display. Receiving a signal will turn the lights back on.
LOCK Mode
How to Set LOCK
Press TIMER ON and TIMER OFF buttons together for 2 seconds to start LOCK mode. The lock indicator appears on the display.
How to Cancel LOCK
Press TIMER ON and TIMER OFF buttons together for 2 seconds to stop LOCK mode. The lock indicator disappears.
SLEEP Mode
SLEEP mode can be set in COOLING, HEATING, or DRYING mode for a comfortable sleep environment. The appliance stops operation automatically after 8 hours, and fan speed is set to low.
How to Set SLEEP Mode
Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through SLEEP 1, SLEEP 2, SLEEP 3, SLEEP 4, and QUIT SLEEP MODE.
- SLEEP mode 1: Temperature adjusts by 2°F within the first 2 hours, then remains steady.
- SLEEP mode 2: Temperature adjusts by 2°F within the first 2 hours, then by 1°F after 6 hours, and by 1°F after 7 hours.
- SLEEP mode 3: Temperature adjusts by 1°F after 1 hour, 2°F after 2 hours, decreases by 2°F after 6 hours, and by 1°F after 7 hours (cooling).
- SLEEP mode 4: Temperature remains steady.
Note: Pressing SUPER, SMART, ECONOMY, MODE, or FAN button cancels SLEEP mode. Pressing ECONOMY for 5 seconds exits SLEEP mode and starts Power control mode.
HI-NANO Mode
Press QUIET and DIMMER buttons together for 3 seconds to start or cancel HI-NANO mode. The HI-NANO indicator appears or disappears on the display.
Note: Pressing the POWER button or reaching the TIMER OFF set time can cancel HI-NANO mode.
Limited Warranty
This limited warranty is provided by Comfortside, LLC. and applies only to registered products installed by a licensed HVAC technician.
Warranty Coverage
The warranty covers parts defective due to materials or workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance. It is valid only for the first original owner at the original installation site and is not transferable.
Warranty Exclusions
Comfortside is not responsible for claims related to:
- Equipment installed outside North America.
- Installation not according to manufacturer's guidelines.
- Equipment moved from the original installation site.
- Invalid registration information.
- Damages or repairs due to faulty installation, improper application, or misuse.
- External perils (acts of nature, accidents, floods, electrical surges, lightning, corrosive substances).
- Use of non-compatible parts, third-party components, alterations, or modifications.
- Improper service or maintenance (cleaning filters, heat exchangers, fans; lubrication; maintenance of accessories).
- Cosmetic changes (fin damages, scratches).
- Resetting power, replacing fuses.
- Use of dirty, recycled, or incorrect refrigerants/lubricants.
- Damage from moisture, air, dust, sand, dirt, etc.
- Continuing use of the product after a malfunction is noticed.
- Improper matching, product selection, sizing, or installation.
- Loss or replacement of refrigerant or oil.
- Labor or associated costs.
Warranty Procedure
Comfortside will provide a new or refurbished part free of charge for any part found defective. The owner is responsible for shipping costs. Comfortside may require the return of the failed part.
Technicians should contact Comfortside Technical Support at (786) 953-6706, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time, while on site. Provide the unit's serial number, purchase and installation invoices, and any case number.
Note: Comfortside Technical Support Agents troubleshoot on a case-by-case basis. It may take multiple attempts to resolve issues.
Labor, Materials, and Other Costs
Labor costs, materials, and other associated costs for replacement of defective parts are the owner's responsibility. Refrigerant costs (charging, recharging, adjustment, removal) are not covered.
Arbitration Clause
Disputes will be decided by neutral and binding arbitration, not by court trial. Class action or class arbitration is waived. Arbitration will be handled by the American Arbitration Organization. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this clause. Arbitration hearings will typically be held in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Each party is responsible for its own costs.
