Important Warnings

  • Place the printer on a flat, solid surface, free from shock.
  • Do not expose the printer to high temperatures, humidity, or areas with high pollution. Avoid water or other objects getting into the printer.
  • If this happens, turn off the device immediately.
  • Paper dust can severely damage the print head.
  • Unplug the device from the mains if not used for a long time.
  • Use only approved accessories. Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or rebuild the device.
  • Use only the original power adapter.
  • High-quality paper ensures print quality and longer printer lifespan.
  • Ensure proper connection/disconnection and power status before use.
  • The printer cannot be used at altitudes higher than 5000 m.

Connections

  • Connect the power adapter to the power source and the DC cable to the printer.
  • Connect the printer to your computer or tablet.
  • Connect to the cash register via the RJ12 connector.

Inserting Thermal Paper

We recommend using high-quality 58 mm thermal paper.

Insertion Method:

  1. Open the printer cover.
  2. Insert the paper roll so the paper end is visible.
  3. Feed the paper into the printer and close the top cover.
  4. Print a sample to confirm the paper is loaded correctly.

Buttons, LED Indicators, and Functions

  • Paper Feed Button (FEED): Use this button to advance the paper.
  • Paper Indicator (Book): A flashing red light indicates a paper shortage.
  • Error Indicator (Error): Flashing indicates paper shortage, autocutter error, or print head overheating.
  • Power Indicator: A blue light indicates the printer is properly connected.

Test Print:

Procedure: After connecting the printer to the power supply, turn off the device. Press and hold the "FEED" button, then release it after approximately 2 seconds. The printer will output a full test print with the current settings.

Reset:

Procedure: After connecting the printer to the power supply, press and hold the "FEED" button for about 20 seconds. After the reset, you will hear a beep or the indicator light will flash.

Driver Installation (Windows)

1) Driver Installation for Windows Operating System:

Select the appropriate port (USB is shown; other connection types are described below) and continue by clicking "Next".

Driver Installation (USB Port)

Now install the printer to the USB port. Other connection methods are described below.

After the installation is complete, a confirmation window will appear. Click "OK".

Testing the Printer After Successful Installation

In Device Manager, right-click on the printer and select its properties.

Click the button to print a test page.

Bluetooth Connection

Pair the printer with your Bluetooth device.

In the Bluetooth settings, select the Bluetooth devices to determine the output port.

When installing the driver, select the connection type and the serial port (COM port).

Enter the desired port number when prompted during driver installation (e.g., COM10).

Confirm and allow the installation to complete.

Perform a test print.

Default Printer Settings (XPrinter V3.0C Software)

Adjust parameters via Wi-Fi and LAN using the XPrinter V3.0C software.

Unzip the downloaded file into a folder and run it. (It is recommended to have antivirus and firewall active during installation).

Set the selected connection type (COM, USB, NET).

Select the printer type (e.g., XP-58).

Perform a test print.

Advanced Settings

After successful connection, you can proceed with configuring the printer settings. Click the "Advanced" button.

The printer settings window will appear, allowing you to adjust various parameters.

Set the desired parameters and apply the changes.

Bluetooth Settings

To modify Bluetooth settings, click the "BluetoothSet" button.

Adjust the desired parameters and apply the changes.

Cleaning and Maintenance

If you experience issues such as unclear printing, missing vertical lines, or noisy paper feeding, you may need to clean the print head.

Print Head Cleaning Procedure:

  1. Turn off the device and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Open the top cover and remove the paper roll.
  3. If not printing immediately, wait for the print head to cool down.
  4. Thoroughly clean the print head with alcohol (ensure no water is used !!!).
  5. Once the alcohol has completely evaporated, close the printer top cover.
  6. Connect to the power supply and print a sample to test the cleaning.

Important Warnings for Maintenance:

  • Ensure the device is disconnected from the power source before performing any maintenance.
  • Do not touch or scratch the surface of the print head, sensors, or other internal components.
  • Keep away from gasoline, acetone, or other organic solvents.
