If the sign "X" is placed after the certificate number, it indicates that the product is subject to the “Specific Conditions of Use” listed in item 17.
This certificate relates only to the technical design of the specified product in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU. Further requirements of the Directive apply to the manufacturing process and supply of this product, which are not covered by this certificate.
Product Description and Variants
The TX913x Programmable Trip Amplifiers are designed to accept signals from various external sensors, including 4-20 mA signals, voltage signals, temperature sensors, flammable gas sensors, and accelerometers. They feature an ABS enclosure and a standard Control PCB connected to different I/O PCBs based on the application.
Listed versions include:
- TX9131.xx.xx.SV: 4-20 mA Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9131: 4-20 mA Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9132: Voltage Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9133: Thermocouple Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9134: PT100 Temperature Sensor Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9135: Semiconductor Temperature Sensor Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9136: Bridge Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9137: A.C. (Peak) Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9137: A.C. (RMS) Input Trip Amplifiers
- TX9139: Interposing Relay Trip Amplifier
Most versions offer three variants: Dual relay output, 4-20 mA output, and 0.4-2 V output.
The Control PCB contains a micro-controller, memory units, logic circuits, and an alpha-numeric LCD module. A keypad is connected via a flexible ribbon cable.
The TX9151 Liquid Flow Trip Amplifier interfaces with a Liquid Flow Sensor (LFS) to measure differential pressure and calculate flow rate, providing a voltage output. It also measures line pressure.
Technical Specifications and Parameters
Detailed electrical parameters (Uo, Io, Po, Ci, Li, Ui) are provided for various terminal connections (T1-T8, T11-T12, T9-T10) across different models and variants. These parameters are crucial for ensuring safe operation in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Similar tables with specific parameters are provided for TX9133, TX9134, TX9136, TX9137, and TX9139.
Marking and Conditions of Use
The product marking shall include:
Ex
I M1
Ex ia I Ma
Ta = -20 °C to +70 °C
Specific conditions of use (denoted by "X" after the certificate number) require:
- Installation in an outer enclosure providing at least IP54 ingress protection (EN 60529). Metallic enclosures must comply with clause 8.2 of EN IEC 60079-0:2018.
- The outer enclosure must be marked with additional information, including the product name and temperature range.
- A static warning label is required if the enclosure is manufactured from plastics or incorporates plastic components with a surface area exceeding 100 cm².
- Installation locations must avoid conditions that may induce static charges.
- This certificate only relates to the TX91xx Trip Amplifiers and does not cover other electrical apparatus in the outer enclosure.
- Internal temperatures may rise above 150 °C, requiring caution when opening the enclosure.
- External supply connections to terminals T9/T10 for the TX9131 Trip Amplifier must be in a parallel configuration only.
