SE26 Layout

FRONT: Features backlit speakers and a control panel.

LEFT SIDE: Features a backlit woofer.

RIGHT SIDE: Features a backlit woofer.

BACK: Features an Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector (Black), a 12V Power-In SAE Connector (Red), and a Light Bar.

Input and Output Connections

IMPORTANT: Maintaining Waterproofness Ensure all caps are properly closed to maintain the unit's watertight integrity. Push caps firmly until they fit flat or snap securely into place.

Connecting to 12V DC Power Supply

The SoundExtreme requires an external 12V DC power supply. Ensure your vehicle's battery terminal voltage is 12VDC. A DC-DC converter with a 12V output is needed if the voltage is not 12V. Connecting to a non-12VDC source may cause malfunction or damage.

WARNING: The unit draws minimal power even when off. To prevent battery drain during prolonged inactivity (over 48 hours), unplug the unit or add a toggle switch.

Installation: 12V Power-In SAE Connector

  1. Attach the 8ft Power Cable to the 12V Power-In SAE Connector (RED).
  2. Remove the 15 Amp Blade Fuse from the Fuse Holder.
  3. Ensure the fuse holder cap is properly closed.
  4. Gas Vehicle Installation:
    • Loosen battery terminal bolts.
    • Connect the BLACK wire to the negative terminal and the RED wire to the positive terminal. Incorrect wiring may damage the unit.
    • Tighten battery terminal bolts securely.
  5. Electric Vehicle Installation:
    • Switch vehicle to Tow mode, if available.
    • Wire the BLACK wire to the GROUND on the DC-DC Converter output.
    • Wire the RED wire to the POSITIVE (+) post on the DC-DC Converter output.
    • Return the 15 Amp Blade Fuse to the Fuse Holder and close the cap.

Tip: Use zip ties to secure excess wires.

Accessory Mode

Connect your accessory to the Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector (12V only).

Use Caution: Do NOT connect to your accessory if the Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector is wet.

Audio Functions

Connecting and Playing Bluetooth Audio

  1. Turn on your Bluetooth device.
  2. Short-press the Power Button to turn on the SoundExtreme.
  3. Short-press the Bluetooth Button to start pairing if the Bluetooth LED is not flashing.
  4. Navigate to your Bluetooth device's setup screen, find and select 'ECOXGEAR' to connect. If the speaker name is not visible, toggle your phone's Bluetooth off and on, or short-press the Bluetooth Button on the speaker to re-enable pairing.
  5. Once connected, the speaker will announce, "Your phone is connected," and the Bluetooth LED will turn solid Blue.
  6. Play your desired audio and use the Play/Pause, Volume, or Track buttons to control playback.

Adjust Volume

Short-press or to adjust volume. Press and hold or + to adjust volume continuously.

Play Music (Bluetooth Mode)

Short-press to play/pause. Short-press < to play the previous song. Short-press > to skip to the next audio track.

EcoTalk

Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri/Hey Google). The soundbar's microphone will capture your commands.

EcoCast - Stream Music Between Multiple Speakers

The SoundExtreme SE26 features EcoCast for broadcasting or receiving wireless audio streams to/from other EcoCast-enabled products (up to 100 devices).

EcoCast Streaming: Two Modes

Notes:

EcoCast: First Two Speakers

  1. Connect Speaker A to your Bluetooth device and play audio.
  2. Short-press the Mode Button on Speaker A to enter EcoCast Transmitting Mode (Mode LED flashes Red).
  3. Turn on Speaker B and short-press the Mode Button to enter EcoCast Receiving Mode (Mode LED flashes Green).
  4. Once connected, Speaker B will announce "Connection successful" and play audio from your Bluetooth device.

EcoCast: Additional Receiving Speakers

  1. Turn on additional EcoCast-enabled speakers (C and D) and press the Mode Button to enter EcoCast Receiving Mode (Mode LED flashes Green).
  2. On Speaker A (solid Red Mode LED), press and hold the Mode Button for 6 seconds (Mode LED flashes Red).
  3. Once connected, Speakers C and D will announce "Connection successful" and play audio from your Bluetooth device.

Listening to FM Radio

Recommendation: Turn off LED Party Lights when searching for radio stations to avoid interference.

The SoundExtreme SE26 can store up to two radio stations.

Remote Control

Pairing Your Remote Control

  1. Pull and remove the plastic tab from the Remote Control.
  2. Connect the SoundExtreme to a 12V power supply.
  3. Within 15 seconds, press and hold ACC for 3 seconds to pair the Remote Control.
  4. Verify pairing by pressing the to check if the speakers light up. If not, unplug the 12V power supply and repeat the steps.

Once paired, the remote is stored in the SoundExtreme's memory.
