SE26 Layout
FRONT: Features backlit speakers and a control panel.
LEFT SIDE: Features a backlit woofer.
RIGHT SIDE: Features a backlit woofer.
BACK: Features an Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector (Black), a 12V Power-In SAE Connector (Red), and a Light Bar.
Input and Output Connections
- USB Charging Port: USB-A jack for charging devices (5V, 2.1A). Only functions when the speaker is powered on.
- Aux-In Port (Black): 3.5mm audio jack for connecting additional soundbars, CD players, MP3 players, etc.
- Aux-Out Port (Gray): 3.5mm audio jack for connecting to additional soundbars, radios, amplifiers, or audio systems with an Aux-In connection.
IMPORTANT: Maintaining Waterproofness Ensure all caps are properly closed to maintain the unit's watertight integrity. Push caps firmly until they fit flat or snap securely into place.
Buttons and LED Status Indicators
LED Indicators (from left to right): Power, Bluetooth, Mode, and Status.
- Power: Solid Green (On), No Light (Off).
- Bluetooth: Flashing Blue (Pairing), Solid Blue (Connected).
- Mode: Solid Blue (Speaker Mode), Flashing Red (EcoCast Transmitting - Pairing Ready), Solid Red (EcoCast Transmitting - Paired), Flashing Green (EcoCast Receiving - Pairing Ready), Solid Green (EcoCast Receiving - Paired).
- Status: Solid Blue (FM Mode), Solid Green (Aux-In Mode), Solid Red (Accessory Mode Enabled).
Button Functions:
- Power Button : Short-press to turn on/off. Announces "Speaker on, ready to connect."
- Mode Button : Cycles through Bluetooth, EcoCast Transmitting, EcoCast Receiving, FM, and Aux-In modes.
- Volume Control Buttons : Short-press to adjust volume. Press and hold to adjust volume continuously.
- Track Buttons : In Bluetooth Mode, short-press to play previous/next track. In FM Mode, short-press to tune to a station, press and hold to seek a station.
- Backlight Speakers Button : Cycles through 6 Party Light Modes (Green, Red, White, Blue, Music Sync, Fading).
- Light Bar Button : Cycles through 5 Light Modes (Red, Yellow, White (High/Mid/Low)). Press and hold to enable/disable Accessory Mode.
- Bluetooth Button : Short-press to enter Bluetooth Pairing or disconnect. Press and hold for 5 seconds to clear pairing memory. In FM Mode, used for FM Station Preset 1.
- Play / Pause / Answer / EcoTalk Button : Short-press to play/pause or answer/end calls. Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate voice assistant (Siri/Hey Google). In FM Mode, used for FM Station Preset 2.
Installation and Wiring
Mounting Your Soundbar
Refer to the separate, mount-specific spec sheet for mounting accessories.
Connecting to 12V DC Power Supply
The SoundExtreme requires an external 12V DC power supply. Ensure your vehicle's battery terminal voltage is 12VDC. A DC-DC converter with a 12V output is needed if the voltage is not 12V. Connecting to a non-12VDC source may cause malfunction or damage.
WARNING: The unit draws minimal power even when off. To prevent battery drain during prolonged inactivity (over 48 hours), unplug the unit or add a toggle switch.
Installation: 12V Power-In SAE Connector
- Attach the 8ft Power Cable to the 12V Power-In SAE Connector (RED).
- Remove the 15 Amp Blade Fuse from the Fuse Holder.
- Ensure the fuse holder cap is properly closed.
- Gas Vehicle Installation:
- Loosen battery terminal bolts.
- Connect the BLACK wire to the negative terminal and the RED wire to the positive terminal. Incorrect wiring may damage the unit.
- Tighten battery terminal bolts securely.
- Electric Vehicle Installation:
- Switch vehicle to Tow mode, if available.
- Wire the BLACK wire to the GROUND on the DC-DC Converter output.
- Wire the RED wire to the POSITIVE (+) post on the DC-DC Converter output.
- Return the 15 Amp Blade Fuse to the Fuse Holder and close the cap.
Tip: Use zip ties to secure excess wires.
Accessory Mode
Connect your accessory to the Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector (12V only).
- Press and hold for 3 seconds to enable Auxiliary Power-Out. The speaker will announce, "Accessory mode enabled."
- Press and hold again to disable Auxiliary Power-Out. The speaker will announce, “Accessory mode disabled.”
Use Caution: Do NOT connect to your accessory if the Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector is wet.
Audio Functions
Connecting and Playing Bluetooth Audio
- Turn on your Bluetooth device.
- Short-press the Power Button to turn on the SoundExtreme.
- Short-press the Bluetooth Button to start pairing if the Bluetooth LED is not flashing.
- Navigate to your Bluetooth device's setup screen, find and select 'ECOXGEAR' to connect. If the speaker name is not visible, toggle your phone's Bluetooth off and on, or short-press the Bluetooth Button on the speaker to re-enable pairing.
- Once connected, the speaker will announce, "Your phone is connected," and the Bluetooth LED will turn solid Blue.
- Play your desired audio and use the Play/Pause, Volume, or Track buttons to control playback.
Notes:
- If pairing is not complete within 5 minutes, repeat the pairing steps.
- After successful connection, turning the speaker off and on will automatically reconnect to the last connected device.
- Press and hold for 5 seconds to clear all pairing records.
Adjust Volume
Short-press or to adjust volume. Press and hold or + to adjust volume continuously.
Play Music (Bluetooth Mode)
Short-press to play/pause. Short-press < to play the previous song. Short-press > to skip to the next audio track.
Notes:
- If a call is received, short-press to answer and again to end the call.
- Volume and Play/Pause can also be controlled from your Bluetooth device. For Aux-In audio, use your device to control playback.
EcoTalk
Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri/Hey Google). The soundbar's microphone will capture your commands.
Notes:
- Your device must be connected via Bluetooth for EcoTalk.
- Voice assistant functionality varies by device.
EcoCast - Stream Music Between Multiple Speakers
The SoundExtreme SE26 features EcoCast for broadcasting or receiving wireless audio streams to/from other EcoCast-enabled products (up to 100 devices).
EcoCast Streaming: Two Modes
- EcoCast Transmitting Mode: Broadcasts audio to multiple EcoCast-enabled speakers.
- EcoCast Receiving Mode: Receives audio from an EcoCast Transmitting speaker, soundbar, or radio.
Notes:
- EcoCast is disabled in Speaker Mode.
- A broadcast system can be built by initiating EcoCast Transmitting Mode on one soundbar and having other speakers in EcoCast Receiving Mode.
EcoCast: First Two Speakers
- Connect Speaker A to your Bluetooth device and play audio.
- Short-press the Mode Button on Speaker A to enter EcoCast Transmitting Mode (Mode LED flashes Red).
- Turn on Speaker B and short-press the Mode Button to enter EcoCast Receiving Mode (Mode LED flashes Green).
- Once connected, Speaker B will announce "Connection successful" and play audio from your Bluetooth device.
EcoCast: Additional Receiving Speakers
- Turn on additional EcoCast-enabled speakers (C and D) and press the Mode Button to enter EcoCast Receiving Mode (Mode LED flashes Green).
- On Speaker A (solid Red Mode LED), press and hold the Mode Button for 6 seconds (Mode LED flashes Red).
- Once connected, Speakers C and D will announce "Connection successful" and play audio from your Bluetooth device.
Notes:
- If speakers are turned off and on, EcoCast Receiving speakers (B, C, D) will automatically reconnect to Speaker A. If not, repeat the connection steps.
- EcoCast functionality is limited to a 30 ft range between speakers.
- Ensure speakers are within a few feet of each other during connection.
Listening to FM Radio
Recommendation: Turn off LED Party Lights when searching for radio stations to avoid interference.
Station Tuning
- Short-press the Mode Button to enter FM Mode.
- Short-press < or > to tune in a radio station.
- Press and hold < or to seek a strong station.
- Short-press or + to adjust the volume.
Station Presets
The SoundExtreme SE26 can store up to two radio stations.
- Press and hold to assign the current station to Preset 1.
- Press and hold to assign the current station to Preset 2.
- Briefly press either button to go to the stored radio station.
Remote Control
Pairing Your Remote Control
- Pull and remove the plastic tab from the Remote Control.
- Connect the SoundExtreme to a 12V power supply.
- Within 15 seconds, press and hold ACC for 3 seconds to pair the Remote Control.
- Verify pairing by pressing the to check if the speakers light up. If not, unplug the 12V power supply and repeat the steps.
Once paired, the remote is stored in the SoundExtreme's memory.
Audio Controls (Remote)
- Power: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power on/off.
- Mode: Short-press to cycle through modes (Bluetooth, EcoCast Transmitting, EcoCast Receiving, FM, Aux-In).
- Play/Pause: Short-press .
- Pause: Short-press again.
- Previous Track: Short-press .
- Next Track: Short-press .
- Volume: Short-press or + to adjust volume.
LED Controls (Remote)
- Backlit Speakers: Short-press to turn backlights on/off. Short-press or + to cycle through 6 Party Light Modes.
- Light Bar: Short-press to turn Light Bar on/off. Short-press or + to cycle through 5 Light Modes.
Remote Switch
Connect your accessory to the Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector (12V only).
- Short-press ACC to enable Auxiliary Power-Out. The speaker will announce, "Accessory Mode enabled."
- Short-press ACC again to disable Auxiliary Power-Out. The speaker will announce, “Accessory Mode disabled.”
Use Caution: Do NOT connect to your accessory if the Auxiliary Power-Out SAE Connector is wet.
Troubleshooting
- The sound is distorted: Lower the volume on your connected device and the soundbar.
- Cannot pair with Bluetooth device: Ensure device compatibility. Turn off and on both devices and reconnect. Ensure Bluetooth Mode is selected.
- Poor FM reception: Move the product to a different location.
- Cannot play music from a flash drive: USB ports are for charging only.
- Volume level is too low: Increase volume on the SE26 and your Bluetooth device.
- LED lights for show and off-road use only: Check local ordinances. LED lights are not DOT compliant and should not be used on public roads.

The warranty is valid only for the original owner purchasing from an authorized dealer. Grace Digital reserves the right to replace out-of-stock or discontinued products.
