JK-SBAR Sound Bar Installation Wiring Kit for JEEP JK/JKU

This cable kit facilitates the installation of the JK-SBAR soundbar on your JEEP JK/JKU when upgrading your sound system and adding an amplifier and an optional light module. This wiring includes everything necessary to integrate the soundbar with the JEEP, including connections for the ceiling courtesy lamp and for connecting 4 speakers, 4 tweeters, and 2 drivers with RGB lights to your system.

ATTENTION: Only works for Non-Amplified factory sound systems.

What You Will Need

• Any 4/5/6 Channels Amplifier.
• LED RGB Control module (LED-BTC).
• Sound bar for Jeep JK/JKU (JK-SBAR).
• 4 x 8" Speakers (NXL8 recommended).
• 4 x 1.75" Tweeters (PRO-TW4L recommended).
• 2 x 1" Driver (PRO-DRNSC recommended)

Important Safety Information

ATTENTION: Installation of mobile audio and video components requires experience with a variety of mechanical and electrical procedures. Although this manual provides general installation and operation instructions, it does not show the exact installation methods for your vehicle. If you do not have the required knowledge and experience to successfully complete the installation, consult an authorized dealer about professional installation service.

ATTENTION: Disconnect the negative post (Ground) of the battery before you start the installation. This helps avoid airbags coding and malfunctions, module malfunction, or any electrical issues.

Amplifier Side Installation

This section details the wiring connections from the amplifier side.

Diagram Connections:

• 1. TO LED BTC: Connects RGB LED lights from the soundbar to the LED-BTC (sold separately).
• 2. TO THE ROOF FOR THE SOUNDBAR SIDE: This cable runs to the roof for the soundbar.
• 3. Soundbar Speaker Harness: Connects the soundbar speaker harness to the "Roof" amplifier. The connections are specified as: White (CH1+), White/Black (CH1-), Gray (CH2+), Gray/Black (CH2-), Green (CH3+), Green/Black (CH3-), Violet (CH4+), Violet/Black (CH4-).

To connect without LED Control Module (LED-BTC):

• Black wire "BK" connected to battery Positive (+) 12V.
• White Color Light "R", "B", and "G" connected to battery Negative (-).
• Green Color Light "G" connected to battery Negative (-).
• Red Color Light "R" connected to battery Negative (-).
• Blue Color Light "B" connected to battery Negative (-).
• Purple Color Light "R" and "B" connected to battery Negative (-).
• Yellow Color Light "R" and "G" connected to battery Negative (-).
• Cyan Color Light "B" and "G" connected to battery Negative (-).

Soundbar Side Installation

This section details the wiring connections on the soundbar side.

Diagram Connections:

• A. RGB LED Light Wire: Connect this to each RGB LED lighting component, such as speakers, rings, grills, tweeters, and the DS18 Badge used for the soundbar.
• B. Factory Dome Light Connector: Connect this to the OEM dome lamp (not included).
• C. Factory Soundbar Connector: Connect to the OEM connector for the soundbar. This provides power for the courtesy lamp and is designed to power the tweeters using the radio amplifier output. Alternatively, tweeters can be connected to another amplifier by connecting them to the ceiling (rear) speaker wires from the connector located behind the factory radio.
• D. 12-pin Harness Connector: This goes to the DS18 roof harness from the amplifier side.

Speaker and Driver Wire Connections:

• Speaker 1 connector: connect to the speaker, Green (+), Green/Black (-).
• Speaker 2 connector: connect to the speaker, White (+), White/Black (-).
• Speaker 3 connector: connect to the speaker, Gray (+), Gray/Black (-).
• Speaker 4 connector: connect to the speaker, Violet (+), Violet/Black (-).
• Tweeter and Driver Wires: connect to each tweeter and driver, Gray (+), Gray/Black (-).

This completes the installation of the JK-Sbarharness. You are now ready to install everything else. Refer to the installation manual of your Sound-bar and the amplifier for a more detailed procedure of the installation of each component.
