This LG patch is applicable for 13-36-23.00-TN-U00-STD-GSE-04 version.
New Features
- Restriction for skip setup wizard:
- Due to new mandatory privacy requirements from Google, the Setup Wizard Bypass Feature has been discontinued on devices running Android 13 and later.
- Consequently, it is now restricted to skip the Setup Wizard screen, and the StageNow barcode will not function during the Setup Wizard, displaying a toast message stating “Not supported."
- If the Setup Wizard has already been completed and its data was configured to persist on the device in the past, there is no need to repeat this process following an Enterprise Reset.

MX 14.1
- Access Manager adds the ability to:
- Control device-user access to the Zebra RxLogger diagnostics utility on the device.
- Skip Set up wizard no longer supported in first boot and setup wizard needs to be configured manually.

- Access Manager adds the ability to:
- Individually control device-user access to Accessibility and Network settings in the Android Settings panel.
- App Manager adds the ability to:
- Use the App Feature parameter to automatically launch an app or reboot the Device after installation.
- Display Manager adds the ability to:
- Control the Secondary Monitor Auto-rotation when a device is placed in a cradle connected to a monitor.
- Specify a video file(MP4) in the Screen Saver Path for display on the device.
- UI Manager adds the ability to:
- Select a Navigation Method for switching between screens on a device.
- Control Color Inversion on the device.
- Control TalkBack feature, which speaks words displayed on the device screen.

Wireless Analyzer (Cellular):
- Battery Info on the UI is not updating properly and Intermittent duplicate events OOS, Data disconnection being posted only during radio power off.
- Synchronization issue between Analyzer and cloud causing Initial events device info, subscription info not being posted to cloud if the Analyzer is kept opened while performing ZDNA registration.

- To update from A13 to A14 release, user must follow the below step: Device must have A13 September 2024 LG BSP Image or a greater A13 BSP version installed which is available on Zebra.com Portal.

- Report Barcode Data Rules: ability to set rules for which barcodes to capture and report.
- Picklist Mode: ability to allow for Barcode or OCR, or limit to OCR only, or Barcode Only.
- Decoders: ability to enable capture any of Zebra supported decoders, previously only the default barcodes were supported.
- Added support for postal codes (via camera or imager) in:
- Free-Form Image Capture (workflow Input) – Barcode Highlighting/Reporting
- Barcode highlighting (Barcode Input).

Known Constraints
- DHCP Option 119 & Auto PAC Proxy feature is currently not supported in this release. Zebra is working on enabling these 2 features in future Android 13 releases.
- Ethernet configuration static to DHCP is not supported via Mx in this release.
- To apply Delta OTA packages, use StageNow/MDM solution. Delta OTA packages are not supported in Recovery mode.
- Data will not be Persisted if we upgrade to this A13 image from A11 image with greater SPL Version.
- Upgrading to this A13 OS version from A11 will not work on 1mbps network until this issue is fixed in A11 image.
- In mirror mode if device and external display resolution are different, UI flicker will be observed when Undock/dock the device.
- OTA update from AB - /storage/usbotg/ will take more than 2 minutes to initiate.
- In landscape mode when display and font is set to maximum, Lock icon will not be visible.
- Wireless insights and wireless analyzer are not supported in this release. will be supported in a later SW Update.
- Workstation Connect is not supported on this release, compatibility with this solution will be introduced on an upcoming release.
- Zebra apps do not support Android Work Profiles or any COPE Mode features. Zebra is working on enabling these features in future Android 13 releases.
