New Features

• MX 13.3:

  • DevAdmin Manager

    Added a new MX feature which allows admin to show/hide Keyguard screen on remote display.

  • UI Manager

    Added a new MX feature which allows admin to show/hide the Remote Cast/Control icon in status bar when device is remotely controlled.

    Added new MX feature to enable/disable write access to Android/data and Android/obb folders of the device, when connected via MTP.

• Scanner:

  Added support to enable and disable decoders, such as US4State and other Postal decoders, in the Free-Form Image Capture Workflow and other workflows where applicable.

New Point & Shoot feature:

Allows the simultaneous capture of both barcodes and OCR (defined as a single alphanumeric word or element) by simply pointing at the target with the crosshair in the viewfinder. This feature supports both Camera and Integrated Scan Engines and eliminates the need to end the current session or switch between barcode and OCR functionalities.

OSX:

Added encryption of SDcard operation support.

ZDM:

• Enable/Disable Remote Control Password/Pin Unlock Device when Keyguard is engaged.
• Added the ability to hide or show Remote Control/Cast Notification in the status bar during screen casting.
• Added the ability to administratively configure External screen resolution which takes effect when device is placed in a workstation cradle, extended to a secondary desktop in mirror mode.

DataWedge:

• Added support for Digital Link parsing for GS1 barcodes in DataWedge.
• Added Localization support for Digital Link parsing for GS1 barcodes in DataWedge.

WAN:

• Added Support for Telecom - Argentina Carrier Requirement.
• Added support of feature VoLTE/VoNR configuration via MX/OEMConfig.
• Added a feature to measure battery consumption per application.

Known Constraints

• Due to Google security constraint, products introduced with Android 11 as the base OS limits the "adb push” command to copy files only to /data partition hence pushing files directly to /enterprise or sub folder of enterprise partition using "adb push” command will not be supported. Please see respective product documentation for further details on path changes related to this constraint.
• Camera preview timeout will be same as the Screen time out set in the system.
• When internal storage runs out, while recording a video or taking pictures using the camera App, user is expected to switch default storage location to external SD card (if a SD Card is present) manually.
