TSA Lock Instructions

Introduction

This document provides instructions for using the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) lock system on Xiaomi Aluminum Frame Luggage. The TSA lock allows security personnel to inspect your luggage without damaging the lock.

Understanding the TSA Lock

The TSA lock features a combination dial and a keyhole. The combination is typically set to 0-0-0 by default. You can set your personal combination for added security.

How to Set Your Combination

1. Ensure the lock is set to the default combination (0-0-0) or your current combination.
2. Locate the reset button (usually a small pinhole) on the side or bottom of the lock.
3. Use a pointed object (like a pen tip) to press and hold the reset button.
4. While holding the reset button, turn the dials to your desired new combination.
5. Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
6. Test the new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your new code to ensure it opens correctly.

How to Use the Lock

To lock your luggage: Set the dials to your combination, insert the shackle into the lock mechanism, and scramble the dials. To unlock: Set the dials to your combination and pull the shackle open.

• Keep your combination in a safe place.
• If you forget your combination, you may need to contact the luggage manufacturer or a locksmith.
• TSA locks are designed for security checks by authorized personnel.
