TSA Lock Instructions

The TSA lock allows security personnel to inspect your luggage without damaging the lock. It utilizes a combination system for securing your belongings.

Setting the Combination

The default combination is typically 0-0-0. To set your personal combination:

1. Locate the reset button on the lock mechanism.
2. Using a small tool (like a pen tip), press and hold the reset button.
3. While holding the button, rotate the number dials to your desired 3-digit combination.
4. Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
5. Test the new combination by ensuring the lock opens when the correct numbers are aligned and does not open with other combinations.

Opening the Lock

Align the current combination numbers with the indicator line and pull the zipper tabs out of the lock mechanism.

Resetting the Combination

If you forget your combination or wish to change it:

1. Ensure the lock is open using the current combination.
2. Locate the reset button again.
3. Press and hold the reset button.
4. Rotate the number dials to your new desired combination.
5. Release the reset button.

Note: It is recommended to set a combination that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.
