TUISS Installation Guide
Stick2Fit Venetian Blinds
Step 1: Unpacking the blind and preparing the window

When you first unwrap the blind, you will find it is already fully assembled. The cords are connected to both the blind and the bottom rail, and the tilt wand is hooked on, ready for use.

Prepare the windows where you will be fitting the blinds by giving them a thorough clean, especially at the top and bottom. Allow sufficient time for the glass to dry completely before fitting the blind. Sealed alcohol wipes will be provided with your blind for this purpose.
Step 2: Fitting the blind

On the back of the headrail, there is an adhesive strip. Peel the cover from this strip on the headrail only, for now.

Carefully line up the headrail with the top of the visible glass. Ensure that the top of the rail is flush with the edge of the rubber seal, if visible, or the edge of the frame if the seal is not visible. Press the adhesive-backing firmly to the glass and hold until it feels secure.
Step 3: Fitting the bottom rail

Peel the adhesive cover from the strip on the bottom rail.

Pull the bottom rail out towards the bottom of the window, stretching out the cords. Similar to the top rail, carefully align the bottom rail with the edge of the visible glass and press it into place.
Step 4: Additional Information - Adjusting the cord tension (optional)
If you find that the blind does not stay in position when fully raised and begins to slip down, this usually indicates that there isn't quite enough tension in the blind's cords to hold it up. Increasing the tension is straightforward and will typically resolve the problem.
Diagrams illustrating the adjustment of cord tension. One shows a screw being loosened, labeled '[Loosen screw]'. The other shows a cord being pulled to increase tension, labeled '[Pull cord tighter]'.
Pull out the cord from inside the bottom rail. One side of the cord will be tied to the spring, while the other is secured by a holding screw. Hold onto the cords secured by the screw and loosen the screw so that the cords can move. Pull the end of the cord through (away from the spring) to increase the cord tension. Start with a small adjustment, pulling through approximately 10mm of cord, then tighten the holding screw. Test the blind by fully raising it to see if it stays in position. If it holds, the tension is correct. If it slips, add another small amount of tension and try again. Repeat this process until the tension is correct, then tuck the cord and spring back behind the bottom rail.
