TMV Designation
HP-S High Pressure Shower
Outlet Temperature Control
The mixed water temperature must never exceed 46°C.
Plumbing Requirements & Restrictions
- DO NOT install the mixer shower in a location where it could freeze.
- DO NOT connect to any tap or fitting not recommended by Triton.
- DO NOT use jointing compounds on any pipe fittings during installation.
- DO NOT solder fittings near the mixer shower, as heat can transfer along the pipework and damage components.
- DO NOT subject the mixer shower to a water temperature above 80°C during installation, use, maintenance, or disinfection.
Pipework & Inlet Requirements
- The layout and sizing of pipework MUST ensure that nominally equal inlet supply pressures are achieved and that the effects of other draw-offs are minimised.
- The hot water pipe entry MUST be made to the left-hand side inlet, marked as HOT, H, or with a red/orange label.
Isolating Valves
- Suitable isolating valves (complying with Water Regulations and Bylaws) MUST be fitted on both the hot and cold water supplies.
- These valves serve as an independent means of isolating the water supplies for maintenance or servicing.
- Position these valves as close as practicable to the water supply inlets of the mixer shower.
- If an isolator is fitted in a loft space, ensure the loft has a fixed access ladder, is boarded, and has appropriate lighting from the access point to the isolator.
Installation Procedure
The full fitting and operating instructions for your mixer shower are available in the online book.
The shower installation MUST be carried out by a suitably qualified person, following the sequence detailed in the instruction book.
Proper installation care will ensure a long and trouble-free life for your shower.
