Samsung N150 Plus Fan Replacement
Use this guide to remove the fan from the Samsung N150 Plus.

Introduction
This guide provides the necessary steps to remove the fan from the Samsung N150 Plus laptop. It involves unplugging cables from the motherboard, which can be easily damaged. Handle connections gently.
Tools Required:
- Phillips #00 Screwdriver
- iFixit Opening Tools
- Spudger
- Phillips #000 Screwdriver
Parts Required:
- Samsung N150 Plus fan
Step 1: Battery
Prepare for battery removal.
- Turn off the computer.
- Disconnect the charging cable from the laptop.
- Warning: Failure to unplug the charging cable could result in electric shock.
- Flip the laptop upside down with the front face down on a flat surface.

Step 2
Release the battery latches.
- Slide the left and right switches to the "unlocked" position.

Step 3
Remove the battery.
- While holding the left and right hand switches in the "unlocked" position, push the battery away from the computer to remove it.

Step 4: Back Panel
Remove the back panel screws.
- Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, unscrew the fourteen 7mm screws securing the back panel.

Step 5
Pry open the back panel.
- Using a blue plastic opening tool or a spudger, wedge it between the back panel and the laptop chassis.
- Apply gentle upward pressure until the back panel pops off.
- Warning: If the back panel is difficult to remove and feels like it is going to break, DO NOT force it. Double-check that all screws have been removed before attempting again.

Step 6
Access internal components.
The computer should now be open with the motherboard and internal components exposed. You should now be able to access the Fan and RAM. Further steps are required before accessing the screen and keyboard.

Step 7: Fan
Remove the fan mounting screws.
- Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to unscrew the two 5mm mounting screws labeled '1' and '2' on the right and left sides of the metal casing labeled CPU.

Step 8
Disconnect the fan cable.
- Unplug the fan wires from the white connector attached to the motherboard by pulling the wires toward you.
- Warning: When pulling on the wires, ensure you do not detach the wires from the white plug itself.

Step 9
Remove the fan assembly.
- Remove the metal casing with the fan attached from the motherboard.

Step 10
Detach the fan from the casing.
- Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to unscrew the three 4mm screws holding the fan to the metal casing.

Step 11
Remove the fan.
- Remove the fan from the metal CPU housing.

Reassembly
