The MOES MS-103 is an easy-to-use, safe, and reliable dual relay output temperature and humidity controller. It can be used for overtemperature protection and automatic temperature & humidity control systems for various electric appliances. Applications include home-brew equipment, pet breeding, incubation, seedling heat mats, terrestrial heat control, constant temperature cycles for heating pumps, culture fermentation, accelerated germination, electric radiators, electric ovens, automatic watering, humidification, and dehumidification systems.

Getting Started: Downloading and Connecting the MOES App

To manage your smart device, download the MOES app. The MOES app offers greater compatibility than Tuya Smart/Smart Life APP, providing enhanced functionality for scenes controlled by Siri, widgets, and scene recommendations as part of a new customized service. (Note: Tuya Smart/Smart Life APP still works, but MOES APP is highly recommended).

Method Two: Manual Connection Steps

1. Ensure your phone is connected to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and that Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Press and hold the reset button on the module until the indicator light flashes, indicating it's in reset mode.
3. Open the MOES App and tap the '+' icon. The prompt page should automatically appear on the screen. Tap "Add".
4. Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap "Next", waiting for the connection to complete.
5. Once the device is added successfully, you can edit its name and enter the device page by clicking "Next".

Wi-Fi Network Requirements:

• Use a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. It is recommended to set different names for your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.
• Ensure your phone is connected to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.
• For a strong Wi-Fi connection, keep the smart device close to the router.
• Check if the maximum number of connected devices to your router has been reached. If so, disconnect some devices or ensure the router is not prohibiting new connections.
• Use English letters and numbers to name your Wi-Fi router. Special characters or non-English names may not be recognized.

Control Function Instructions

The controller operates in different modes based on measured temperature and humidity:

1. Heating Mode

• When the measured temperature is below the set Low Temperature Value, the controller enters heating state, the switch module turns ON, and the HEATING output activates.
• When the measured temperature reaches or exceeds the set High Temperature Value, the switch module turns OFF, and the HEATING output deactivates.

2. Cooling Mode

• When the measured temperature is above the set High Temperature Value, the controller enters cooling state, the switch module turns ON, and the COOLING output activates.
• When the measured temperature is at or below the set Low Temperature Value, the switch module turns OFF, and the COOLING output deactivates.

3. Humidifying Mode

• When the measured humidity is below the set Low Humidity Value, the controller enters humidifying state, the switch module turns ON, and the HUMIDIFYING output activates.
• When the measured humidity reaches or exceeds the set High Humidity Value, the switch module turns OFF, and the HUMIDIFYING output deactivates.

4. Dehumidifying Mode

• When the measured humidity is above the set High Humidity Value, the controller enters dehumidifying state, the switch module turns ON, and the DEHUMIDIFYING output activates.
• When the measured humidity is at or below the set Low Humidity Value, the switch module turns OFF, and the DEHUMIDIFYING output deactivates.

If you encounter issues adding your Smart Device, please check the following:

• Is the Smart Device powered on?
• Is your phone connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network?
• If your router is dual-band, ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network.
• Router Wi-Fi settings: Use WPA2-PSK encryption with AES authorization, or set both to 'auto'. The wireless mode should not be '11n only'.
• Use English and numbers for your Wi-Fi router name.
• Keep the smart device close to the router for a strong connection.
• Check if the maximum number of connected devices to your router has been reached. If so, disconnect some devices and try again.
• Manual (automatic) mode switching is only available when the temperature and humidity probe is connected and active.
• When the main switch is ON, only the temperature and humidity probe will be active.
