IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General Safety Guidelines

Read fully before use. Comply with all guidelines during assembly, installation, and servicing to avoid property damage, serious bodily injury, or death.

  1. Use the pizza oven outdoors only, away from structures, buildings, garages, or enclosed areas. Place on a sturdy, level, stable, and non-flammable surface, clear of flammable materials, gasoline, and vapors.
  2. Be aware of local laws regarding distances from structures and flame restrictions during drought periods.
  3. Do not install or use on boats or recreational vehicles.
  4. Do not use in high winds.
  5. The pizza oven is not intended for use as a heater.
  6. Toxic fumes can accumulate and cause asphyxiation.
  7. Flames may escape from the back, top of the hatch when open, front of the oven when the door is open, or the chimney. Keep openings clear and warn others.
  8. Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, or maintenance can cause injury or property damage. Ensure the oven is completely assembled and all parts are securely fastened.
  9. Pellet Burner: Pellet length affects temperature. Recommended length is no longer than 1.25" (3cm). Longer pellets may cause colder burning. Adjust settings accordingly. Use only cooking pellets.
  10. Charcoal/Wood Burner: Gradually add kindling to achieve optimum temperature. Excessive kindling can enlarge the fire and risk damage.
  11. Risk of burns: Wear protective heat-resistant gloves at all times. Do not place hot items on or near combustible surfaces. Do not touch metal parts when operating. Only touch wooden handles to open the door and lift the fuel hatch.
  12. Never leave the pizza oven unattended, especially with the lid open while lit. Be aware of hazards like dry leaves or flammable materials that could ignite from sparks.
  13. Keep electrical cords away from the pizza oven.
  14. The oven operates between 100°F (50°C) and 1200°F (650°C).
  15. The oven is safe when used as intended and according to safety guidelines. Users are responsible for maintaining safe operation and exercising reasonable care.
  16. Handle all parts carefully to avoid accidental injury, as sharp edges may be present.

CHOICE OF FIREWOOD PELLETS

  1. Recommended length: No longer than 1.25 inches (3cm).
  2. Use only firewood pellets suitable for cooking. Avoid pellets from animal bedding or heating pellets containing chemicals.
  3. Ensure wood pellets are dry.
  4. Choose 100% hardwood pellets; softwood pellets may not burn fully.

HOW TO IGNITE FIREWOOD PELLETS?

Igniting firewood pellets for the first time can be difficult. Follow these steps:

  1. Accessories: 100% Hardwood Pellets, Fire starter, Igniter.
  2. Ignite step:
    1. Fill 50% of the burner grates with hardwood pellets (approx. 1.8 lbs, 7-8 scoops).
    2. Place a natural fire starter on the edge of the burner grate.
    3. Ignite with an igniter and slide the burner grate into the pizza oven.
    4. To maintain temperature, refill pellets by sliding out the grate, adding a small amount of pellets, and sliding the grate back in.

HOW TO BAKE PIZZA?

PREPARING TO BAKE PIZZA

  1. Pizza Oven
  2. Pizza Stone
  3. Thermometer gun (purchase separately)
  4. Pizza spatula (purchase separately)
  1. After pellets ignite, close the door and preheat for 15 minutes to reach 750°F-860°F.
  2. When the temperature is reached, open the door, place the pizza inside, and close the door.
  3. Wait 15 seconds, open the door, rotate the pizza 180° with the spatula, and close the door.
  4. Wait another 15 seconds, open the door, rotate the pizza 90°, close the door, and repeat this step 4 times.
  5. Remove the pizza and finish baking.

Note: Cooking times are approximate and depend on temperature. Adjust for desired pizza texture.

PRECAUTIONS AFTER BAKING

Allow the pizza oven to cool for 60 minutes before cleaning and disposing of ashes. Do not use water or other substances to lower the oven's temperature, as it can be dangerous.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

  1. Storage: Store the oven indoors and the pizza stone in a warm, dry environment when not in use.
  2. Cleaning the Oven: Wipe the interior with a dry paper towel. Wipe the exterior with stainless steel cleaner. Avoid harsh cleaning products.
  3. Cleaning the Pizza Stone:
    • Allow the stone to cool completely before cleaning to prevent cracking. Use hot water, not detergent.
    • Use a scraper or brush to remove debris. Alternatively, place greaseproof paper on the stone to prevent soiling.
    • Let the stone dry completely for 1-2 hours before use.
    • Stains on the baking stone are normal and part of the seasoning process; they do not affect performance or taste.
