System Overview
This guide assists solar installers with Sungrow's iSolarCloud system, detailing commissioning procedures and troubleshooting common issues with inverters and Wi-Fi dongles.
Dongle Status Indicators
Sungrow Wi-Fi dongles use LED lights (RUN, COM, NET) to indicate power, Wi-Fi connection, and server connection status. A flashing COM light signifies a disconnected home router, requiring reconfiguration.
Commissioning & Device Warnings
The "Resume Commissioning" status indicates the inverter is connecting to iSolarCloud, often due to network issues or incorrect serial numbers. Device warnings are shown via colored dots: Grey (Offline), Orange (Alarm), and Red (Fault), each signifying different operational problems.
Troubleshooting in iSolarCloud
Access detailed alarm and fault information within the iSolarCloud platform by navigating to the "Device" tab and then the "Active Faults" section.
Plant Visibility & User Setup
Ensure plant visibility for end-users by correctly configuring the "Owner's Email" in plant settings. For end-users without received emails, the "Forgot Password" option on the iSolarCloud login page can be used.
Tariff Configuration
Correctly enter tariffs in AUD using decimal format (e.g., 0.07 for 7 cents) for accurate revenue calculation.
Device Replacement Process
Update iSolarCloud via the "Device Replacement" feature in plant settings when replacing an inverter to ensure proper data transfer.
