Local Operation
The device can be operated locally via its interface. Users can set parameters such as voltage, current, power, and temperature thresholds, along with trip delay times (0-10 seconds). The local version clock is calibrated monthly, while the remote version syncs automatically.
Screen Display: The main screen displays real-time parameters: Temperature, Voltage, Current, Power, Frequency, Power Factor, Energy, and Date.
Password Login: A password-protected login is available. The default factory password is "0000" and can be changed in advanced settings to prevent unauthorized access.
Advanced Function Settings: This section covers factory reset, clearing energy data, setting passwords, screen orientation, automatic reclosing functions (over/under-voltage, over-current, over-power), and clock settings. Reclosing functions can be independently enabled or disabled.
Main Menu: Access the main menu by pressing and holding the menu button for 5 seconds. The menu includes options like PARM (Parameters), FUNCTION, ADVANCED, TIMING, ABOUT, and BACK.
Timing Settings: Local timing settings allow for scheduling up to 3 groups of switch operations per week and per day.
App Function Description
The Tongou smart meter can be managed via a mobile application. Key app functions include:
- Recharge Function: For prepaid models, allowing users to recharge their electricity balance.
- Prepaid Switch: Managing the prepaid functionality.
- Recharge Records: Viewing history of electricity recharges.
- Reset Remaining Electricity: Function to reset or clear electricity balance.

Connectivity Setup:
