Installation Guide

Emerson offers wall-mounted relative humidity (RH) sensors (P/N 203-5751) and combined RH and temperature sensors (P/N 203-5752 and 203-5756). These are designed for building control and anti-sweat control applications, integrating with Emerson input boards.

Dimensions

The sensor housing has the following dimensions: Height: 4.9 inches (123 mm), Width: 3.2 inches (82 mm), Depth: 1.3 inches (34 mm).

Mounting

  1. Mount the backplate on the wall in an appropriate location, ensuring the "Install This End Up" label is positioned in the upper right corner.
  2. Wire the unit as described in the Wiring section.
  3. Attach the front plate.

Wiring

  1. Use Belden #8771 shielded three-conductor cable or equivalent.
  2. Connect the RED, BLACK, and WHITE wires to the sensor's connector screw terminals. Clip the SHIELD wire.
  3. Connect the SHIELD and BLACK wires to the 0V terminal of the input board. Connect the WHITE wire to the SIG terminal of the input board.
  4. Connect the RED wire to the +12V power terminal on the input board.

Operations

Emerson wall-mounted humidity sensors measure the levels of RH and temperature (if equipped) within a room. To ensure accurate functionality, keep all pickup vents clear of dust and debris.
