7. Maintenance and Service
7.1 Overview: Maintenance and Servicing
The installer must perform annual maintenance.
Refrigerant: This product contains fluorinated greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. Do NOT release gases into the atmosphere. Refrigerant Type: R32. Global Warming Potential (GWP): 675.
CAUTION: Applicable legislation regarding fluorinated greenhouse gases requires refrigerant charging to be indicated both by weight and by CO2 equivalent. Formula for calculating greenhouse gas emissions, expressed in tonnes of CO2 equivalent: GWP of refrigerant × Total amount of refrigerant charged [in kg]/1000.
For more information, contact your installer.
CAUTION:
Maintenance MUST be performed by an authorized installer or service representative. Annual maintenance is recommended. However, applicable legislation may require shorter maintenance intervals.
WARNING:
Do NOT puncture or incinerate parts of the refrigerant circuit. Do NOT use cleaning materials or defrosting accelerators other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Note that the refrigerant inside the system is odorless.
WARNING:
The unit must be stored so that it is protected from mechanical damage and in a well-ventilated space free from continuously operating ignition sources (e.g., open flames, gas appliances, electric heaters). The room size must correspond to that specified in the "General Safety Measures".
DANGER: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Before cleaning the air conditioner or air filter, stop its operation and TURN OFF the power supply. Otherwise, electric shock and injury may occur.
WARNING:
Do NOT place anything under the outdoor and/or indoor unit that needs to be protected from moisture. Otherwise, condensation on the unit or refrigerant pipes, dirt on the air filter, or blocked drainage may cause dripping, leading to contamination or damage to the respective item.
WARNING:
Do NOT place a spray can containing flammable substances near the air conditioner and do NOT use sprays around the unit. This could lead to fire.
CAUTION:
Do NOT operate the system when using a fumigating insecticide in the room. This may cause chemicals to deposit in the unit, which could be hazardous to the health of people who are sensitive to chemicals.
CAUTION:
After prolonged use, check the unit's mounting for any damage. Such damage may lead to the unit falling and causing injury.
CAUTION:
Do NOT touch the heat exchanger fins. These fins are sharp and may cause injury.
WARNING:
Be careful with ladders when working at height.
