Overview

The Honeywell HH490 is a new generation of handheld 2D area-imaging scanner designed for high-speed 1D/2D scanning operations in diverse commercial environments. It demonstrates strong capability in reading barcodes rapidly and continuously, even when they are damaged, partially obscured, or poorly printed.

This scanner is engineered to fulfill various customer scanning needs across applications such as personnel registration at government departments, membership identification and payments at large-scale shopping malls and supermarkets, hotel registration and management, theater ticket verification, and in places like hospitals and schools where quick data identification is crucial.

The HH490 offers excellent 1D and 2D barcode scanning performance at an affordable price. It responds quickly to scanning needs, helps customers obtain data efficiently, simplifies operation procedures, and significantly improves enterprise management efficiency, making scanning easier and faster.

Addressing the challenges of rapid and large-scale deployment in commercial settings, the HH490 is equipped with Honeywell's advanced EZConfig and POS driver, which greatly simplify the configuration process and save time. It is also fully backward-compatible with existing HH400 accessories, helping customers reduce costs and maximize their investment.
