Camera Charging
When the camera's battery level is low, a battery icon will appear on the screen, and the device will automatically power off.
Full charging takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Caution:
Do not use USB cables other than the included one, as this may cause malfunction, overheating, fire, or electric shock.
When charging via a computer, charging may be interrupted if the computer enters sleep mode.
Do not operate the camera for extended periods while charging.
Do not place the camera in confined spaces during charging (e.g., camera accessory storage bags).
If the red charging lamp does not light up and charging is not possible, consider the following:
The USB cable connection may be insufficient. Reconnect the cable.
The battery may be degraded or faulty.
Memory Card Usage
Memory Card Standards:
Supports microSDXC and microSDHC cards.
Supports capacities up to 512GB (U3 class).
A write speed of 90MB/S or higher is recommended.
Memory Card Insertion/Removal:
Ensure the camera is powered OFF before inserting or removing the memory card.
Insertion: Following the camera parts description, open the memory card slot cover, confirm the card's orientation, and insert it straight in. A "click" sound indicates correct insertion.
Removal: Lightly press the edge of the memory card; it will automatically pop out for removal.
Memory Card Formatting:
When using a memory card for the first time, format it using the "Format" function in the "System" settings.
Caution:
Formatting will erase all files on the card and set it up for the camera's use.
Do not remove the card during camera formatting or operation.
If using a card previously used with another device, always format it with this camera first.
Using genuine U3 class memory cards is recommended. Cards below U3 class may not operate correctly.
Getting Started
Model Menu:
Briefly press the "Power Button/Mode Button" or tap the current mode icon in the upper left corner of the screen to display the mode list pop-up.
The camera displays various modes for recording and photography:
Recording Mode: Performs normal video recording.
Slow-motion Recording Mode: Records and saves video at selectable resolutions and slow-motion speeds.
Loop Recording Mode: Divides footage into fixed time segments during recording. When the memory card is full, it automatically overwrites the oldest files.
Time-lapse Recording Mode: Compresses video footage shot over minutes, hours, or days into a shorter video file. Ideal for capturing slow processes like blooming flowers.
Photo Mode: Performs normal still photography.
Timer Photo Mode: Takes self-portraits.
Continuous Shooting Mode: Shoots photos continuously.
Time-lapse Photo Mode: Takes photos automatically at set intervals.
Note: You can switch between "Photo" and "Video" modes by swiping left or right on the screen. Other modes are not supported this way.
Recording Operation
Hold the camera steady to align with the shooting subject. Start recording by pressing the "Record/Photo Button" or tapping the "Screen Recording Button" on the display.
Buttons usable during recording:
IR Light Button: Turns on the IR light to assist shooting in very dark environments.
AEL Button: Fixes the current brightness level.
Arrow Keys: Controls the lens zoom operation.
DISP Button: Switches the screen display.
Power Button/Mode Button: Temporarily pauses recording.
Video Menu Functions
In preview mode, tap the screen margin and then tap the gear icon [⚙️] on the right to bring up the menu list. Tap the back arrow [←] to exit the menu list.
Menu Options:

Exposure Compensation | Adjusts the brightness of the video. |
Time Stamp | Turns the time display in videos on/off. |
Pre-record | Turns 5 seconds of pre-recording on/off. |
Metering Mode | Select the metering method. |
White Balance | Select the white balance method. |
WDR | Turns Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) on/off. |
Distortion Correction (LDC) | Turns video distortion correction on/off. |
Caution:
Do not access the function menu during video playback.
If the memory card is full, a "Space Insufficient" prompt will appear, and the video will automatically stop. You will need to replace the memory card or delete files to continue recording or taking photos.
Higher settings result in larger files and greater storage space usage; lower resolutions result in smaller files and less storage space usage.
In environments with low visible light or minimal light, the "Exposure Compensation" function may be ineffective.
Audio recording is not supported during video pauses in "Slow-motion Recording" and "Time-lapse Recording" modes.
Shooting Operation
Adjust the shooting target or hold the "Video/Photo Key" [?]. Click the "Screen Shooting Key" [⚪] to take a photo.
Buttons usable during shooting:
IR Light Button: If there is little ambient light after powering on, it assists video shooting.
AEL Button: Fixes the current brightness level.
Arrow Keys: Controls the lens zoom operation.
DISP Button: Switches the screen display.
Playback
Video and Photo Playback:
Use the DISP key to switch between detailed preview information or display the preview file. Use the arrow keys to adjust video playback volume.
Caution: Locked files cannot be deleted.
System Settings
In preview mode, tap the empty space on the screen and then tap the gear icon [⚙️] on the right to bring up the menu list. Tap the back arrow [←] to close the list.

Connecting to a PC
Connect to your computer using the included USB cable. The camera can be used not only for charging but also as a mobile hard disk and a webcam.
Steps:
Insert the memory card correctly. Briefly press the "Power/Mode" button [⏻] to turn on the camera and enter standby mode.
Connect the camera and computer using the included USB cable. The camera will display a function list.
Select "Mobile Disk" or "PC Camera".
Caution: When connecting to a desktop computer, please use the USB ports on the back of the computer whenever possible. Front USB ports may have insufficient power.
App
About the App:
For Android/iOS devices, open your respective app store, search for "OD Cam", and download and install it. You can use the app to perform the following operations:
Preview and download photos and videos from the camera to your smartphone.
Use your smartphone as a remote control to take photos and videos.
Edit downloaded photos and videos and upload them to SNS platforms.
You can also download the app by scanning the QR code below.
Caution: When installing the app on Android devices, you may receive a prompt asking for permission to use the app. If so, select "YES" for all permissions.
Wi-Fi Usage
Connection Steps:
In the file preview interface, click on the empty screen space and then click the gear icon [⚙️] on the right. Click the gear icon [⚙️] in the pop-up function list to access the system settings list again.
Click the "Wi-Fi" function and select "Open" [▶️].
Enter Wi-Fi settings and wait for the connection interface.
Enter your mobile phone's settings and enable Wi-Fi.
Select the camera's Wi-Fi name (default setting: M5-xxxxxx).
Enter the camera's Wi-Fi password (default setting: 12345678). Connection is complete.
Open the installed "OD Cam" app, tap "Device Connection", and access the app's homepage.
Caution:
The Wi-Fi function will automatically close if left idle for over 1 minute.
The speed at which the app's homepage loads may vary depending on your smartphone model. If it is slow or the device connection fails, try again.
If Wi-Fi connection fails:
Restart the device and try again based on the connection method.
Ensure you have entered the Wi-Fi password correctly. The default password for the camera's Wi-Fi function is 12345678.

Q1: Can it be used as a wireless network camera?
A: No. It needs to be connected to a computer via a USB cable.
Q2: Recordings are split into multiple files. How can I merge them into one file?
A: You can use video joining software for PCs to merge multiple files into one. Search for "Boilsoft Video Joiner" on Google to download it, or contact the manufacturer ORDRO for assistance.
Q3: Which OS versions or devices are compatible with the app?
A: The app supports the following OS: Android: Android 5.0 ~ 15, iOS: iOS 9 ~ 18. Even with supported OS versions, the app's stability may vary depending on the smartphone's performance and network environment. This app is not available for PC.
Q4: Why does the connection often fail when using the app with an Android smartphone?
A: After connecting your Android smartphone to the camera's Wi-Fi, if you see a message stating "Wi-Fi is not connected to the internet. Continue using?", please select "Yes".
