This section contains important information to ensure the user's safety and prevent potential damage to property. Please read this section carefully and use the product accordingly.
- Installation and repair should be done by a professional installer or service person.
- Do not install the product where the gap between the door and the frame is 5 mm or more.
- Long-term exposure to direct sunlight may cause cracks on the touch pad. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
- Do not use excessive force or sharp objects to push the lock buttons, as this can damage the product.
- Do not operate the product with wet hands, and keep liquids such as water or drinks away from the product, or it may malfunction or be damaged.
- Do not use water, benzene, or alcohol when cleaning the product; use a soft dry cloth.
- Make sure the door is completely closed when going outside.
- Ensure no unauthorized person has access to the password. Change it regularly.
- Be sure to correctly match the battery polarities (+/-) when installing batteries. Wrong polarity may cause battery leakage or bursting.
- When the battery replacement alarm melody is generated, use all new batteries.
- Battery consumption may be high depending on the wireless communication environment.
- Interference in wireless communication may occur when this product is used, or radio interference may occur from other devices.
- This radio system may have radio interference during operation and cannot provide a service for human lives.
- Excessive dew condensation may affect product performance.
- Keep 20 cm or longer away from this product when using it.

How to Open the Door
From Outside (Master/User Password)
When purchased, the product is set to Multi-leveled Security Code Entry Mode. For Common Mode setting, refer to 'Multi-leveled Security Code Entry Mode setting'.
Silent Mode: Before entering the master/user password, press the
button and enter the password to mute sounds.- Accessing the door lock or touching the number pad (in Welcome Function mode) lights up the number pad.
- Enter the master/user password and press the button.
- Success: "Ding dong deng dong"
- Failure: "This password is incorrect."
Note: If Welcome Function is deactivated, touch the number pad to open the door. Mobile key requires WiFi subscription and NFC enabled Android terminals.
From Outside (Fingerprint)
Place the registered fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor.
- Place the registered fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor.
- The door will be opened after 1 second.
- Success: "Ding dong deng dong"
- Failure: "Please try it again."
From Outside (Key Tag, Mobile Key)
Place the registered key tag or mobile key on the key tag sensor.
- Place the key tag or mobile key on the key tag sensor.
- The door will be opened after 1 second.
- Success: "Ding dong deng dong"
- Failure: "This key tag is not registered."
From Inside
Pull the inside handle.
Note: Be careful not to trap your hand during use.
How to Lock the Door
Automatic Locking
The door is automatically locked 1 second after it is closed.
Manual Locking
Press the
button from the inside.Note: To check the door status, shortly touch the
button. A red LED blinks if locked, green if not.Registration Mode
All registration and setting are activated only when the door is opened. WiFi connection is activated only when the door is closed.
To enter Registration Mode:
- Open the battery cover of the inner body and press the button shortly.
- A "Ding dong" sound is heard.
- The system prompts: "Press "0" and the asterisk sign to change a password. Press "1" and the asterisk sign to manage a user password. Press "2" and the asterisk sign to manage a key tag. Press "3" and the asterisk sign to manage a fingerprint. Press "4" and the asterisk sign to set up a wireless connection."
Note: Registration time is 60 seconds. Press the
button to cancel.Changing the Master Password
A user can register a master password (4 to 12 digits). Only one master password can be registered. The default is "1234".
- Enter Registration Mode.
- Select "Master Password Change" (Press and ).
- Press the existing master password and the button.
- Press the new master password and the button.
- Press the button, the new password, and the button to confirm.
- Check if the Registration mode is accessed.
- Success: "It was changed."
- Failure: "Wrong information was entered."
Warning: Recommended password length is 6+ digits. Manage master password carefully. A registered master password cannot be deleted.
Adding/Deleting User Passwords
Up to 100 user passwords (4 to 12 digits) can be registered. Passwords can be added, deleted individually, or all deleted.
- Enter Registration Mode.
- Select "User Password Management" (Press and ).
- Choose an option:
- Additional Registration: Press and . Enter new user password and . Success: "It is registered."
- Individual Deletion: Press and . Enter user password to delete and . Success: "It is deleted."
- Delete All User Passwords: Press and . Success: "All deleted."
Note: Registration/deletion can continue within 60 seconds.
Adding/Deleting Key Tags
Up to 100 key tags can be registered (ISO 14443 Type A supportable). Tags can be added, deleted individually, or all deleted.
- Enter Registration Mode.
- Select "Key Tag Management" (Press and ).
- Choose an option:
- Additional Registration: Press and . Connect the key tag to be registered. Success: "It is registered."
- Individual Deletion: Press and . Connect the key tag to be deleted. Success: "It is deleted."
- Delete All Key Tags: Press and . Success: "All deleted."
Warning: Only Samsung SDS key tags can be used.
Adding/Deleting Fingerprints
Up to 100 fingerprints can be registered. Fingerprints can be added, deleted individually, or all deleted.
- Enter Registration Mode.
- Select "Fingerprint Management" (Press and ).
- Choose an option:
- Additional Registration: Press and . Place fingerprint on sensor three times. Success: "It is registered."
- Individual Deletion: Press and . Place fingerprint to delete on sensor. Success: "It is deleted."
- Delete All Fingerprints: Press and . Success: "All deleted."
Note: Register thumb or index finger for best results. Fingerprint quality may affect registration.
Setting Mode
You can set various functions of the door lock. To enter Setting Mode:
- Open the battery cover of the inner body and press the button shortly.
- A "Ding dong" sound is heard.
- The system prompts: "Press the password and the asterisk sign to manage an authentication tool. Press the Security button for the environment setting. Press the Register button to end this process."
- Press the button.
- The system prompts: "Setting mode. Press "1" and the asterisk sign for the Welcome function. Press "2" and the asterisk sign for the Randomizer. Press "3" and the asterisk sign for the Dual authentication. Press "4" and the asterisk sign for the Door close time. Press "5" and the asterisk sign for the Voice guidance. Press "9" and the asterisk sign for Wi-Fi."
Note: Setting time is 60 seconds. Press the
button to cancel.Welcome Function
Setting: Activates authorization standby mode when a user approaches.
Deactivation: Requires touching the number pad or fingerprint sensor to activate standby mode.
Detection Distance: Set detection range (Short: ~40cm, Middle: ~60cm, Long: ~80cm).
To configure:
- Enter Setting Mode.
- Select "Welcome Function Setting Mode" (Press and ).
- Choose an option:
- Activate Welcome Function and Security Mode: Press and . Result: "It is set."
- Activate Welcome Function: Press and . Result: "It is set."
- Deactivate Welcome Function: Press and . Result: "It is deactivated."
- Set Detection Distance: Press and . Then select distance (1 for Short, 2 for Middle, 3 for Long). Result: "It is set."
Note: Security mode may trigger alarms in certain environments.
Multi-Leveled Security Code Entry Mode
Prevents password leaks by requiring specific number sequences. Default is activated.
- Enter Setting Mode.
- Select "Randomizer setting mode" (Press and ).
- Choose activation/deactivation:
- Activate: Press and . Result: "It is set."
- Deactivate: Press and . Result: "It is deactivated."
Double Authorization Mode
Requires both password and fingerprint. Fingerprints must be registered first. Default is deactivated.
- Enter Setting Mode.
- Select "Dual authentication setting mode" (Press and ).
- Choose activation/deactivation:
- Activate: Press and . Result: "It is set."
- Deactivate: Press and . Result: "It is deactivated."
Door Lock Closing Time Setup
Sets the delay time for locking after the door closes. Default is 1 second.
- Enter Setting Mode.
- Select "Door closing time-setting mode" (Press and ).
- Set time: Press a number ~ and . Result: "It is set."
Voice Guide Setting
Door lock functions are guided by voice. Default is activated.
- Enter Setting Mode.
- Select "Voice guidance setting mode" (Press and ).
- Choose activation/deactivation:
- Activate: Press and . Result: "It is set."
- Deactivate: Press and . Result: "It is deactivated." (Alarm sounds for abnormal situations remain active).
WiFi Use
Default is activated for app services. WiFi band: 2.4 GHz.
- Enter Setting Mode.
- Select "Wi-Fi setting mode" (Press and ).
- Choose an option:
- Activate WiFi: Press and . Result: "It is set."
- Deactivate WiFi: Press and . Result: "It is deactivated."
- WPS Mode: Press and . This mode allows convenient connection/security setting when the AP supports WPS. Refer to AP manual for usage.
Note: Deactivating WiFi use prevents access to app services.
Initialization
This process deletes registered data.
- Initialize Linked Information: Open battery cover, press button for 5 seconds. Enter master password and . Result: "The reset has been completed." (Maintains master/user passwords and fingerprints).
- Initialize Key Information: Open battery cover, press button for 5 seconds. Enter "4560852580" and . Result: "The reset has been completed." (Initializes master/user passwords, key tags, and fingerprints).
Additional Functions
Automatic/Manual Locking Setting
Automatic: Door locks 1 second after closing. Set the
switch to 'A/M' position.Manual: Door locks when
button is pressed from inside.Note: Door automatically locks 7 seconds after unlocking if not opened.
Volume Setting
Adjusts sound levels for button presses, locking, and unlocking. Default is level 1.
Open inner body battery cover. Set
switch to [0]~[2].- [0]: Mutes door opening/closing and key touch sounds (except alarms).
- [1]~[2]: Activates sounds; volume increases with level.
Door Bell Function
Pressing the door bell LED on the number pad generates a bell sound to alert residents of a guest.
Security Assurance Mode
Prevents the door from being opened from the outside when someone is inside.
- Activation: Press and hold the button on the indoor side for 3 seconds. Result: "Anti-picking mode is activated."
- Deactivation: Pull the inner body handle to open the door.
- Operation: Inside actions (e.g., , WiFi open) or outside actions (number pad, fingerprint, key tag) trigger a "sound for action-unavailable".
Warning: Be careful not to accidentally activate this mode, especially with children.
Away Mode and Anti Unlock
Away Mode: Triggers an alarm if the door is opened from the inside when the user is out. Alarm: "beep beep-" sound for 5 minutes.
Anti Unlock: Tightens the internal handle to prevent bypass attempts.
- Away Mode Activation: After locking, press the button within 3 seconds. Result: "Away mode is activated."
- Anti Unlock Activation: Press and hold for 3 seconds. Result: Alarm becomes active.
- Deactivation: Open the door using any valid authentication method (password, fingerprint, key tag, WiFi).
- Anti Unlock Release: Press the button.
Warning: Anti Unlock function should only be set up when no one is inside. It may make the internal handle harder to pull.
Intrusion Detection Function
Triggers an alarm if the door is forcefully opened from inside or outside. This is a basic function and cannot be activated/deactivated.
Prank Prevention Function
Triggers an alarm and deactivates the lock if improperly handled from the outside (e.g., 5 incorrect password/fingerprint/key tag attempts). The lock is deactivated for 3 minutes.
High Temperature Alarm Function
Detects abnormally high room temperatures (around 70℃ ±10℃) and triggers an alarm, then automatically unlocks the door. The door operates normally once the temperature decreases.
Battery Replacement
A voice message "Replace the batteries." or a melody indicates low battery. The battery replacement LED also lights up.
Action: Immediately replace all batteries with new ones. The unit may stop operating suddenly if batteries are not replaced.
Note: Battery life varies (approx. 10 months with average use). Check batteries regularly. Menu functions may be unavailable after low battery alerts.
Warning: Battery leaks can damage the product.
Emergency Use
Emergency Power Use
If batteries are depleted, connect a smartphone portable charger with a Micro-USB 5-pin connector to the Micro USB power input on the bottom of the outer body. Then, authenticate with fingerprint or password to open the door.
Emergency Key Use
An emergency key can be used if the door lock malfunctions due to battery issues or circuit problems. Insert the emergency key into the emergency key hole on the bottom of the outer body and turn to release the lock.
Warning: If an emergency key is lost, it is recommended to replace the entire key cylinder body (paid service).
