Keytag/Mobile Key
The door opens when a registered keytag or mobile key (smartphone) is placed accurately on the fingerprint sensor area.
References:
- For mobile key access, the smartphone screen must be on.
- Mobile key functionality typically requires the Samsung Smart Doorlock app and NFC support on Android devices.
4 Open/Close Door from Inside
The door can be operated from the inside in multiple ways:
Open by Touching the Interior Lever
Touching the interior lever activates the proximity sensor, turning the [OPEN/CLOSE] button LED green. Lightly push the lever to open the door.

Can be enabled by pressing the [OPEN/CLOSE] button for 3 seconds while locked, and disabled by a short press of the same button or turning the manual lock.
- Anti-Tampering Function: If authentication fails 5 consecutive times (password, fingerprint, keytag, mobile key), the door lock operation is suspended for 3 minutes, and an alarm sounds.
- Intrusion Detection Function: Triggers a 5-minute alarm if the door is forcefully opened from inside or outside while locked. This is a default, non-disableable function.
- High Temperature Alarm Function: Activates an alarm if the indoor temperature exceeds approximately 70°C (±10°C), indicated by flashing LEDs. The door lock is automatically disabled and restores operation when the temperature drops. This is a default, non-disableable function.
8 Initialization
Initialization resets specific settings to their default states.
- Initialize Linked Information (Wi-Fi / Remote Controller): Resets mobile key and Wi-Fi registration information. Master password, user passwords, fingerprints, and keytags remain unchanged.
- Initialize Key Information: Resets the master password to "1234" and deletes all registered fingerprints, keytags, and app information.
Tip: Initialization performs a factory reset of configured information.
Caution: After initialization, the password defaults to "1234". It must be changed immediately.
9 How to Replace the Battery and Open the Door During an Emergency
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries immediately when the voice guidance or battery replacement LED [battery-led] indicates low power. Failure to do so may cause the lock to shut down.
Procedure: Push the interior unit cover upwards to remove it and replace the batteries.
Cautions:
- Battery life varies by manufacturer and usage.
- Check battery status every 6 months to prevent leaks.
- Low battery may restrict access to registration or configuration modes.
- Always replace all batteries with new ones; do not reuse old batteries.
Emergency Door Open
If the door lock fails due to low battery or other circuit errors, emergency methods can be used:
- Emergency Power: Purchase a 9V (6LF22) battery. Connect it to the exterior unit's power input. Wait 20 seconds after the beep, then perform normal authentication (fingerprint/password/keytag) to unlock.
- Mechanical Override: Insert a mechanical key into the [mechanical-override-hole] at the bottom of the exterior unit and turn the key to unlock.
Caution: Keep a mechanical override key in a safe, separate location outside the home (e.g., in a vehicle or at the office).
Safety Caution
Please read and comply with the following safety precautions to ensure user safety and prevent property damage:
- Do not install or repair without authorization.
- Ensure the gap between the door and frame does not exceed 5 mm.
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure on the touchpad to prevent damage.
- Do not apply excessive force or use sharp tools on the lock buttons.
- Operate with dry hands and prevent liquids from entering the product.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water, benzene, or alcohol.
- Always check if the door is completely locked when leaving.
- Manage passwords securely and change them regularly.
- Insert batteries correctly, observing polarity (+/-). Incorrect insertion can cause leaks or rupture.
- Battery consumption may increase in unfavorable wireless environments.
- Wireless radio waves or other devices may cause interference, potentially suspending safety-related services.
- Product performance may be affected by high humidity.
- Maintain at least 20 cm distance from the product during use.
Notes:
- Installation by a professional is recommended. Fees may apply for customer-caused defects.
- User manuals are subject to change for product improvement. Images may differ from the actual product.
- Ensure at least one mechanical override is stored separately or carried by the user.
- This door lock does not require a traditional key. Product failure may result in partial damage.
- Users should be familiar with manual door lock operation for unforeseen circumstances.
