3 Device Installation
WARNING
To avoid moisture influence, install the dome cover at least half an hour after the camera is installed and powered on.
The vandal dome camera can be installed on a ceiling, wall, wall bracket, or ceiling bracket. This section describes ceiling installation.
Installation Steps:
- Step 1: Stick the installation location sticker on the ceiling or wall. Drill three holes based on the marks on the sticker. Drive the swell plastic buttons into the holes.
- Step 2: Use the provided wrench to unscrew the three screws on the dome cover. The camera opens, releasing the base panel.
- Step 3: Fetch three black self-tapping screws. Fasten the base panel of the camera to the ceiling, ensuring the hook position passes the bump.
- Step 4: Plug the network access port into the interface using the tool. Pass the power supply and other cables through the rubber stopper using a screwdriver or L hexagonal wrench. NOTE: For top outlet mode, drill a hole first. For side outlet mode, align the sticker's gap with the outlet rubber stopper.
- Step 5: Align the set screw with the direction icon on the base panel. Rotate the device clockwise to the extreme position, then tighten the set screw to lock the block.
- Step 6: Connect the camera to a monitor. Loosen the screws of the support frame. Adjust the three axes (horizontal rotation 350°, vertical rotation 80°, lens axis rotation 350°) to focus the image on the monitoring scenario. Tighten the screws to finish adjustment.
- Step 7: Arrange the camera cables using the over-line buckle. Assemble the dome cover with the hex wrench.
