Installation Precautions
- ⚠️ Avoid installing in locations prone to structural damage or excessive vibration.
- ⚠️ Protect the camera from extreme heat (e.g., fire symbol) and freezing temperatures (e.g., snowman symbol).
- ?? Avoid exposure to liquids, moisture, or corrosive substances.
Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Camera Housing
Use the provided Allen key to loosen the screws securing the camera dome cover.
Step 2: Detach the Camera Base
Gently pull the camera base downwards to separate it from the main camera unit.
Step 3: Mount the Bracket
Mark the desired mounting location on the ceiling or wall. Drill holes, insert anchors if needed, and secure the mounting bracket using the provided screws.
Step 4: Route Cables
Pass the power and network cables through the center hole of the mounting bracket.
Step 5: Attach the Camera Unit
Align the camera unit with the mounting bracket and secure it in place.
Step 6: Connect Wiring (XNF-8010R/XNF-8010RV)
Connect the RJ-45 network cable, microphone input, and power connector to the respective ports on the camera.
Step 7: Connect Wiring (XNF-8010RVM)
Connect the M12 network cable, microphone input, and power connector to the respective ports on the camera.
Step 8: Note on Accessories
Note: A WiFi key and OTG adapter are not included. The camera has a micro USB port for connectivity.
Step 9: Reassemble the Camera Dome
Align the camera base with the main unit and push it upwards until it clicks into place.
Step 10: Secure the Camera Dome
Use the Allen key to tighten the screws and fully secure the camera dome cover.
Step 11: Mobile Device Setup
Install the WISENET Installation mobile application on your smartphone or tablet.
Step 12: Computer Software Setup
Install the IP Installer software and the User Manual from the provided CD onto your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions for software setup.
Initial Setup and Configuration
Password Setup
Upon first accessing the camera, you will be prompted to set an administrator password. The "Password Change" window will appear.
Password Complexity Requirements:
- For passwords 8-9 characters long: Use a combination of at least three types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- For passwords 10-15 characters long: Use a combination of at least two types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- The username must be different from the password.
- Available special characters:
~`!@#$%^*()_-+=|{}[].?/
- Do not use 4 or more consecutive identical characters (e.g., 1111, aaaa) or 4 or more consecutive keys (e.g., 1234, abcd).
If you forget your password, press and hold the [RESET] button on the camera to restore factory defaults. It is recommended to record your password in a safe place.
Login Procedure
When you attempt to access the camera, a login screen will appear.
- Enter "admin" in the <User Name> field.
- Enter your password in the <Password> field.
- Click the [OK] button.
WiFi Connection
Camera Setup:
Connect the OTG adapter (5-pin) and the WiFi key to the camera's micro USB port.
Smartphone Setup:
- Install the WISENET Installation application on your smartphone.
- Enable WiFi on your smartphone and select the camera's SSID.
- Launch the WISENET Installation application.
- When connecting to the camera, video will stream. The default password is '4321'. Initial video playback may occur without requiring a login.
- While viewing video on your smartphone, you can adjust the viewing angle.
