First Time Use
Refer to the "Daily Use" section for instructions on selecting and starting a programme.
First Cycle Operation
To remove any manufacturing debris:
- Select the " [program-symbol] " programme with a temperature setting of 60 °C.
- Pour a small quantity of detergent powder into the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser (maximum 1/3 of the quantity recommended by the manufacturer for lightly soiled laundry).
- Start the programme without loading the washer dryer machine (with an empty drum).
Daily Use
- Loading Laundry: Prepare laundry according to "Hints and Tips". Open the door, load laundry without exceeding maximum capacities, and close the door securely, ensuring no laundry is trapped.
- Open the Water Tap: Ensure the washer dryer is correctly connected to the water mains and open the tap.
- Switching On the Washer Dryer Machine: Press the power button; the indicator lamp ▶ flashes slowly.
- Selecting a Programme and Customising a Cycle:
Functions available: Wash only, Wash and dry, Dry only.
Wash Only:
Select the programme using the dial. The display shows duration, maximum temperature, and spin speed. Adjust temperature and spin speed using the respective buttons. Pressing the temperature button cycles through lower settings down to cold wash ("- -"). Pressing the spin speed button cycles through lower settings down to "0" (off), or pressing again returns to the highest setting.
Select options by pressing the relevant button; its lamp will illuminate. Press again to cancel.
Important: If an option is incompatible with the selected programme, an error tone sounds and the indicator lamp flashes three times.
Wash and Dry:
To wash and dry a load without interruption, ensure the load does not exceed the maximum permissible drying load (refer to the "Programme Chart").
- Follow "Wash Only" instructions to select and customise the programme.
- Press the button to select the required drying mode: automatic or timer.
Automatic Drying: Dries laundry until the set dryness level is reached. Pressing the "Drying settings" button selects the highest level; pressing again reduces it. Levels include:
- Wardrobe: Completely dry, ready to store.
- Hanger: Slightly damp to minimise creasing, for air drying.
- Iron: Reasonably damp to make ironing easier.
Timer Drying: Press the button repeatedly to set a timer from 210 to 30 minutes.
Note for larger loads: If the load exceeds the maximum drying capacity, remove some garments after the wash cycle before starting the drying cycle. Then follow "Dry only" instructions.
Cooling Down: Always allow a cooling down period after drying before opening the door.
Preset cycles (e.g., the two mentioned) do not require a separate drying cycle selection.
Dry Only:
Used to dry a wet load (washed previously or by hand).
- Select a suitable programme for the laundry type (e.g., Cotton for cotton).
- Press the button to dry without a wash cycle.
- Press the button to select the drying mode (automatic or timer), as described above.
- Using the Correct Amount of Detergent: Pour detergent into the dispenser compartments as described. This is necessary for wash-only or wash+dry programmes.
- Delaying the Start of a Programme: Refer to the "Options and Functions" section.
- Starting a Programme: Press the START/PAUSE button. The door locks ([lock-symbol OFF]), the drum rotates, and the door may unlock ([unlock-symbol ON]) and relock ([lock-symbol OFF]) during the preparation phase. Water enters, and washing begins once the door is locked. To change a programme mid-cycle, press START/PAUSE (lamp flashes amber), select the new programme, and press START/PAUSE again. The door can be opened mid-cycle if the [unlock-symbol ON] lights after pressing START/PAUSE. Press START/PAUSE again to resume.

Hints and Tips
Sorting Laundry
Sort laundry by:
- Type of fabric/care label: Cotton, mixed fibres, synthetics, wool, handwash items.
- Colour: Separate coloured and white items; wash new coloured items separately.
- Delicates: Wash small items (e.g., nylon stockings) and items with hooks (e.g., bras) in a cloth bag or pillowcase with a zip.
Empty all pockets
Objects like coins or lighters can damage laundry and the drum.
Follow the dosage recommendation / additives
Optimizes cleaning, avoids irritating residues, and saves detergent.
Use low temperature and longer duration
More efficient programmes generally use lower temperatures and longer durations.
Observe the load sizes
Load the Washer Dryer up to the capacity indicated in the "Programme Chart" to save water and energy.
Noise and remaining moisture content
Influenced by spinning speed: higher speed means more noise and lower moisture content.
Wash Symbols on Garment Labels
The symbol in the tub indicates the maximum washing temperature.
- Normal mechanical action
- Reduced mechanical action
- Much reduced mechanical action
- Hand wash only
- Do not wash
Cleaning & Maintenance
Switch off and unplug the Washer Dryer before cleaning. Do not use flammable fluids.
Clean and maintain periodically (at least 4 times per year).
Cleaning the outside of the Washer Dryer:
Use a soft damp cloth. Avoid glass cleaners, scouring powder, or similar on the control panel, as they can damage printing.
Checking the water supply hose:
Regularly check the inlet hose for brittleness and cracks. Replace if damaged. If the hose has a transparent coating, check for colour intensification, which may indicate a leak.
Cleaning the water filter / draining residual water:
If a hot wash programme was used, wait for the water to cool down. Clean the water filter regularly to prevent drainage issues.
To access the filter: remove the plinth by pushing downwards on one side and using a screwdriver to pry it open.
Place a container beneath the filter to collect water. Turn the filter counterclockwise slowly until water flows out. Close the filter when the container is full, empty it, and repeat until all water is drained. Use a cloth to absorb residual water. Remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise. Clean the filter under running water. Reinsert the filter by turning it clockwise until fully seated, with the handle vertical. Test water tightness by pouring 1 litre of water into the detergent dispenser.
Cleaning the detergent dispenser:
Press the release button and pull out the dispenser. Remove inserts and clean all parts under running water, removing detergent/softener residues. Dry with a soft cloth and reinstall.
Saving Energy and Protecting the Environment
- Keep within load limits for optimal energy, water, and detergent consumption.
- Do not exceed recommended detergent quantities.
- Use 60°C or 40°C wash programmes instead of 90°C or 60°C respectively. Cotton programmes, though longer, use less energy.
- Select the highest spin speed to reduce residual water and save time/energy during drying.

Options and Functions
Options are selectable by pressing the relative button.
Important: If a selected option is incompatible with the programme, an error tone sounds and the indicator lamp flashes three times.
- FRESHCARE+: Enhances wash cycles by generating steam to prevent odour proliferation. After the steam phase, a delicate cycle with slow drum rotations occurs. For drying cycles, it prevents creases with slow drum rotations. The cycle runs for up to 6 hours after the wash/dry cycle and can be interrupted. Allow 5 minutes before opening the door.
- START DELAY: Set a programme to start at a later time. The 'h' symbol lights on the display. Press the button again until "0" is shown to cancel.
- LOCK BUTTON: Press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds to lock the control panel. The [lock-symbol] lights on the display. This prevents accidental changes, especially with children present. If an attempt is made to use the panel, the [lock-symbol] flashes. Press and hold the button again for 3 seconds to unlock.
