Tips and Suggestions
- Sort Laundry: By fabric type (cotton, mixed fibers, synthetics, wool, hand-wash items), color (separate colors from whites, wash new colored items separately), and delicates (small items like nylon socks, items with hooks like bras should be placed in a fabric bag).
- Empty Pockets: Remove coins, lighters, and check buttons, as they can damage the appliance and drum.
- Follow Dosage Recommendations: For optimal cleaning, avoid detergent residue, and save by preventing excess usage.
- Use Low Temperatures and Longer Durations: Energy-efficient programs typically use lower temperatures and longer cycle times.
- Respect Load Sizes: To save water and energy, do not exceed the maximum load capacity indicated in the "PROGRAM TABLE."
- Noise and Residual Moisture: These are influenced by the spin speed; higher spin speeds result in lower residual moisture.
Washing Symbols on Garment Labels
The symbol in the tub indicates the maximum washing temperature.
- ?: Normal mechanical action
- ?: Reduced mechanical action
- ?: Extremely reduced mechanical action
- ?: Hand wash only
- ?: Do not wash
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always turn off and unplug the machine before cleaning. Do not use flammable liquids. Clean and maintain the washer dryer periodically (at least 4 times a year).
- External Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use general cleaners, glass cleaners, abrasive powders, or similar substances on the control panel, as they can damage printed parts.
- Water Inlet Hose Check: Periodically check the hose for integrity. If damaged, replace it with a new one from authorized service centers or specialized retailers. If the hose has a transparent coating, check for darker colored areas, which may indicate a leak.
- Water Filter / Residual Water Drain Cleaning: If a high-temperature wash was used, wait for the water to cool before draining. Clean the filter regularly to prevent blockages. Remove the plinth using a screwdriver. Place a shallow container under the filter to collect residual water. Slowly turn the filter counter-clockwise to drain water. Close the filter, empty the container, and repeat until all water is drained. Place a cotton cloth under the filter to absorb residual water. Remove the filter by turning counter-clockwise. Clean the filter under running water. Reinsert the filter by turning clockwise until it stops, ensuring the handle is vertical. Pour about 1 liter of water into the detergent drawer to test for leaks. Reinstall the plinth.
- Detergent Drawer Cleaning: Press the release button and pull out the drawer. Remove the insert from the drawer and the softener compartment. Clean all parts with running water, removing detergent or softener residue. Dry with a soft cloth. Reinstall the drawer.
Energy Saving and Environmental Protection
- Adhering to load limits optimizes energy, water, and detergent consumption, as well as wash duration.
- Do not exceed recommended detergent dosages.
- For energy savings, choose a 60°C program instead of 90°C, or a 40°C program instead of 60°C. For cotton items, the "ECO 40-60" program is recommended for lowest consumption.
- To save energy and time when drying, select the maximum selectable spin speed to reduce the amount of water retained by the clothes.

6th Sense: Sensor technology adjusts water and energy consumption and program duration to the actual load. For wash programs above 50°C, powder detergent is recommended. Follow detergent packaging instructions. * Selecting the SPIN & DRAIN program with spin set to "~" performs only draining. ** Program duration is shown on the display. *** At the end of the program executed with the maximum selectable spin speed, with default settings. The cycle duration displayed is an estimate; actual time may vary based on water pressure, ambient temperature, detergent amount, load size and type, load balance, and selected options. Values for programs other than Eco 40-60 are indicative.
1) Eco 40-60 (Wash & Dry): Test cycle in accordance with EU Ecodesign regulation 2019/2014. Most water and energy efficient program for washing normally soiled cotton items. Note: displayed spin speed values may differ slightly from table values. 2) Eco 40-60 (Drying): Test drying cycle in accordance with EU Ecodesign regulation 2019/2014. To start the wash and dry cycle, select the "Eco 40-60" wash program and set the drying option level to "11". Most water and energy efficient program for washing and drying normally soiled cotton items. Items can be stored immediately after the cycle. For test institutes: 2) Long cotton program: set COTTON program at 40°C. 3) Long synthetic program: set SYNTHETICS program at 40°C.
Program Descriptions:
- MIXED: For durable cotton, linen, synthetic, and mixed fabrics, lightly to moderately soiled.
- WHITES: For towels, underwear, tablecloths, bedding, etc., in durable cotton and linen, normally to heavily soiled. At 90°C, a pre-wash phase is included; add detergent to both pre-wash and main wash compartments.
- COTTON: For towels, underwear, tablecloths, etc., in durable cotton and linen, moderately to heavily soiled.
- ECO 40-60: For normally soiled cotton items washable at 40°C or 60°C in the same cycle. This is the standard cotton wash program and the most efficient in water and energy consumption.
- DELICATES: For particularly delicate garments. Turn garments inside out before washing.
- SYNTHETICS: For synthetic fibers (e.g., polyester, polyacrylic, viscose) or cotton blends, moderately soiled.
- DUVET: For items with feather padding such as duvets, pillows, and down jackets. Fold duvets inwards and do not exceed 3/4 of the drum capacity. Use liquid detergent for optimal results.
- STEAM REFRESH: Refreshes garments by removing odors and relaxing fibers using steam. Garments will be damp at the end of the cycle.
Options and Functions
If an option is not compatible with the program, an error sound will be heard, and "Non Selezionabile" (Not Selectable) will be displayed.
- FRESHCARE+: Enhances wash cycles by generating steam to inhibit odor-causing bacteria (wash only). After the steam phase, gentle drum rotations occur. For drying cycles, it prevents stubborn creases through slow drum rotations. The FRESHCARE+ cycle lasts up to 6 hours and can be interrupted by pressing any button or turning the knob. Wait about 5 minutes before opening the door.
- SPIN & DRAIN: For spinning and draining water. For durable items.
- RINSE & SPIN: For rinsing and spinning. For durable items.
- RAPID 30': For lightly soiled items, washes in 30 minutes, saving energy and time. Maximum load 5.5 kg.
- 20°C: For lightly soiled cotton items at 20°C.
- JEANS: Wash garments inside out and use liquid detergent.
- WOOL: Suitable for all wool garments, including those labeled "hand wash only." Use specific detergents and do not exceed the maximum load.
- WASH & DRY 45' (WASH & DRY in 45'): Washes and dries lightly soiled items (Cotton and Synthetics) in 45 minutes. Maximum 1 kg load.
- WASH & DRY 90' (WASH & DRY in 90'): Washes and dries items (Cotton and Synthetics) in 90 minutes. Maximum 2 kg load.
- EXTRA RINSE: Allows selection of rinse type for sensitive skin. Pressing the button cycles through "Extra +1", "Extra +2", and "Extra +3" rinses to remove detergent traces. Cycles at 40°C help remove allergens like pet hair and pollen; temperatures above 40°C provide excellent anti-allergic protection. Press the button again to return to "Normal Rinse."
- RAPID: Reduces wash duration by up to 50% depending on the cycle, saving water and energy. Suitable for lightly soiled items.
- DELAY START: Press the button repeatedly to set the desired delay time. Press until "- h" appears on the display to cancel.
- KEY LOCK: Press and hold the ? button for about 2 seconds to activate. "BLOCCO TASTI ATTIVO" (Key Lock Active) will appear on the display. This prevents accidental program changes, especially with children around. To deactivate, press and hold the ? button for about 2 seconds.
