Finding the serial number or IMEI number
The serial number or the mobile device's international identification number (IMEI) is on the packaging. Alternatively, press *#06# on the phone, or go to Settings > Regulations and Security > IMEI.

1. Your Device
1.1 Buttons and Connectors

Button Functions:
- 1. OK button: Confirm option (press the center of the button). Press: Access the application list (from the Home screen).
- 2. Left function button: Confirm option. Press: Access the application list (from the Home screen).
- 3. Call initiation button: Answer/initiate call. Press: Open call log (from the Home screen).
- 4. Right function button (Back button): Press: Access Contacts (from the Home screen).
- 5. End button: Press: End call. Long press: End/cancel dialling/return to Home screen.
- 6. Navigation button: Move up, down, left, or right in the menu. Press (from standby screen): Up: Access Messages, Down: Access Camera, Right: Access Entertainment(1), Left: Access Tools.
- 7. "5" key: On standby screen: Press: Enter digit "5". Long press: Turn flashlight on/off.
- 8. "*" key: On standby screen: Press: Enter "*". Long press: Lock screen. In edit mode: Enter symbols.

1.2 First Steps
1.2.1 Setup
Removing the back cover and installing the battery:

Inserting and removing the SIM card/micro SD card
Insert the SIM card with the chip facing down and slide it into its slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly. To remove the card, press it and then pull it out.
Turn off the device before inserting or removing the SIM card/micro SD card.

Charging the battery
Connect the battery charger to the phone and the wall socket.
- Be careful, do not force the connector into the socket.
- Before connecting the charger, ensure the battery is properly inserted.
- The mains socket should be near the phone and easily accessible (use of an extension cord is discouraged).

To reduce energy consumption and save power, unplug the charger when the battery is fully charged; turn off Bluetooth or background applications when not in use; reduce backlight time, etc.
1.2.2 Turning on the phone
To turn on the phone, press and hold the End button until the phone turns on. It takes a few seconds for the screen to light up. Press and hold/press [Left function button] to unlock the phone.
The phone will also turn on if no SIM card is installed, and you can use some of its functions.
1.2.3 Turning off the phone
To turn off the phone, press and hold the End button.
1.3 Home screen

1.4 Application list
To access the Application list, press the Left function button or the OK button on the Home screen.
1.4.1 Status bar(1)
The status bar appears at the top of the home screen. Icons indicate the phone's status, and new notification alerts appear on the status bar.

1.4.2 Modifying the Home screen background
- On the Home screen, press the OK button, select the Settings icon ⚙️, then press the Navigation button to select Display > Background settings.
- Choose a new image from "Wallpaper" or "More images", then press the OK button. After exiting, the new image will appear on the home screen.
2. Call Logs
2.1 Initiating a call
Dial the desired number and press the Call initiation button, or press the Right function button to select a contact from the Phonebook. Use the Navigation button up or down to select the desired contact, then press the Call initiation button. If you make a mistake, you can delete incorrect digits using the Right function button. To end the call, press the End button.
International call
To initiate an international call, press the * key twice to enter the "+" character, then dial the international country code and the full phone number, and then press the Call initiation button.
Emergency call
If there is signal, dial the emergency number and press the Call initiation button to initiate the emergency call. Depending on your network and country, this may work even without a SIM card or without entering the SIM code.
2.2 Answering or rejecting a call
When receiving a call:
- To answer, press the Left function button or the Call initiation button.
- To reject, press the Right function button or the End button.
2.3 Accessing voicemail(1)
- Long press 1 to call voicemail.
- Follow the instructions to set up your voicemail account.

3. Messages
The messaging function allows you to send and receive text (SMS/MMS) messages.
3.1 Writing a message
- On the Home screen, press the OK button, then select Messages > Write message.
- Enter the recipient's phone number in the Recipient field, or press the OK button to add contacts from the phonebook.
- Press the navigation down button to type the message in the message line.
- When finished, press the OK button or the Left function button to select Options > Send to send the messages.

3.2 Sending a multimedia message
MMS allows you to send video clips, pictures, photos, contacts, and sounds. On the Message screen, select Options > Add and choose the attachment.
SMS will be automatically converted to MMS when media files (image, video, audio, etc.) are attached.
3.3 Message settings
In edit mode, press the Keyboard button to change the input mode to access 1, 2, 3..., or long press the corresponding button to get the desired number.
You can type text with predictive text input, or press the # button to set up text input.
- In normal input mode, press the 2-9 number keys until the desired character appears. If the next letter you want to enter is on the same key as the currently entered character, press the key multiple times until the cursor appears.
- Press the # button to choose between Abc/abc/ABC/123 modes or the writing language.
- To enter punctuation or special characters, press the * button.
- If you want to delete already typed letters or symbols, you can use the Right function button for individual deletion.
Settings
- SIM1/SIM2 message center: You can view the message center number here.
- Message validity period: You can set the message validity period to 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, or a maximum value.
- Delivery report: You can enable or disable delivery reports.
- Reply path: Check the checkbox to enable the reply path.
- Character encoding: You can set the character code to GSM-7 bit encoding, UCS2 encoding, or Automatic.
- Save sent messages: You can choose whether to save sent messages or not.
- Preferred storage: You can choose the path for saved messages.
4. Phonebook
4.1 Viewing the phonebook
The Phonebook allows quick and easy access to desired contacts. You can access this menu in the following ways:
- On the Home screen, press the OK button and select Phonebook.
- On the Home screen, press the Right function button.

- To access further options, press the Left function button.
- Press the OK button to enter contact details.
- Press the Right function button on the Home screen or in the application list.
4.2 Adding a contact
On the contact list screen, select Options > New to add a new contact with detailed information.

When finished, press the Left function button to save.
4.3 Editing a contact
Select a contact, press the OK button to access Details, select Options > Edit, then press the OK button to edit.

4.4 Deleting a contact
On the phonebook screen, press the Left function button to access Options, select Delete, then press the OK button to delete.
4.5 Available options
From the Phonebook, you can access the following options:
- New: Create a new contact on the phone or SIM card.
- Write message: Send an SMS to a contact selected from the Phonebook.
- Call: Initiate a call to the selected contact.
- Delete: Delete the selected contact.
- Delete duplicate entries: Delete one or more contacts at once.
- Import/Export:
- Import contacts: Import contacts to the phone.
- Export contacts: Export contacts from the phone or SIM card.
- Send vCard: Send a contact via SMS/MMS/Bluetooth, depending on the purchased device.
- Other:
- Speed dial: Set up one or more speed dial contacts.
- Memory status: View the memory status of the phone and SIM card.
- My phone number: Set your name and mobile number.
5. SOS
On the Home screen, press the OK button, then select the SOS option.
To define the recipients of the SOS call, press the navigation up/down button and select Contact list. To edit the predefined message, press the navigation up/down button and select the Message option.
SOS mode is enabled by default. To check if it is enabled, press the navigation up/down button, select Activate, and then press the OK button to check the box.
In case of sudden illness or other emergency, press and hold the SOS button to trigger an alarm, automatically send emergency messages, and dial the pre-set emergency numbers.
6. Gallery
The Gallery can be used as a media player to view your photos and play your videos. Additionally, further operations are available for pictures and videos.
To access the function, press the OK button on the Home screen, then select the Gallery option.
7. Camera
You can take pictures and record videos with the built-in camera on your mobile phone.
7.1 Camera
To access the function, press the OK button on the home screen and select Camera.
Taking a picture
The screen serves as a viewfinder. Frame the object or landscape in the viewfinder, then press the OK button to take the picture, and then press the Left function button to save.
7.2 Video
Recording video
- Press the Left function button, select More options > DV mode.
- Press the OK button to record video.
- When finished, press the Left function button, and it will be saved automatically. You can view the file in the Gallery section of the application list.
8. Tools
8.1 Alarm
Your mobile device has a built-in alarm clock with a snooze function. You can set up to three alarms with different alarm times.
8.2 Clock
The first clock displays the time based on your location when the SIM card is inserted. You can select other cities to display the time in their respective time zones.
8.3 Flashlight
You can turn the phone's flashlight on and off by pressing the OK button, which provides a reliable light source whenever you need it.
8.4 Calculator
Use the up, down, left, right, and center function buttons to select +, -, ×, ÷, and =.
8.5 Calendar
With the Calendar, you can keep track of important meetings, appointments, etc.
To create a new event, select the date by pressing the navigation button, then press the OK button, fill in all the necessary information for the new event, and then press the Left function button to save.
*This device supports up to 20 calendar entries.
8.6 Recorder
Use this function to record audio files. When finished, the file will be stored automatically.
8.7 Media Album
My Files manages all files stored on the phone, including those on the external microSD™ card and internal storage.
8.8 Converter
The Converter supports weight conversion and length conversion.
9. Entertainment
This menu offers various entertainment options, including Music, FM radio, Facebook, Games, and Opera Mini, depending on the purchased device.
To access the menu, press the OK button on the home screen and select Entertainment.
10. Settings
To access the function, press the OK button on the home screen and select Settings.
10.1 Profiles
Profiles provide a set of settings to adapt to different scenarios, allowing you to set the sound mode to Normal, Silent, Meeting, Indoor, or Outdoor mode.
10.2 Bluetooth
After pairing, you can exchange data, such as videos, pictures, and audio files, with Bluetooth-enabled devices.
10.3 Phone settings
- Date and Time: Allows you to modify date and time settings, including 12/24 hour format and date format (YYYY-MM-DD/MM-DD-YYYY/DD-MM-YYYY). You can also choose to automatically update the time by selecting Settings > Time settings > Time automatic update.
- Language settings: You can customize various language settings, such as the display language and input language. Please note that the availability of certain languages and functions may vary depending on the device model and software version.
- Shortcut settings: The Shortcut settings menu allows you to customize shortcuts for quick access to various device functions, such as contacts, messages, camera, etc.
- Automatic power on/off: In this menu, you can set the desired time and days for the automatic power on and off functions.
- Energy saving: In this menu, you can view the battery charge level.
- Browser selection(1): This menu allows you to select your preferred web browser for internet access on the device.

10.4 Display
In this menu, you can set animation effects, wallpaper, automatic lock, etc. These functions and settings contribute to enhancing the display experience, allowing you to customize and optimize the device according to your preferences and needs.
10.5 Display mode
You can choose between two display modes: Super icon mode and 3x3 mode. In Super icon mode, each option appears with large, eye-catching icons, while in 3x3 mode, menu items are displayed in a traditional grid layout with smaller icons and accompanying text descriptions.
10.6 Security
You can protect your phone by activating and changing the PIN code and password. The initial value for the PIN code and password is 1234 or 0000, depending on the provider. If problems persist, please contact your operator.
This function also allows you to lock the phone by activating the PIN2 code for fixed dialling numbers.
- PIN-code: The SIM card security code must be entered every time the phone is powered on.
- PIN2-code modification: The security code for certain SIM card functions (FDN) is requested when you try to access the card, if the code is activated. Choose a new code (between 4 and 8 digits) if you wish to update it.
- Phone lock: The unlock code is requested every time the phone is powered on.
- Change phone password: Change the phone's password (default 1234).
- Privacy: This allows you to lock applications. Enter the password (default 1234) and then check the box to activate the lock for the following: Call logs, Messages, Camera, Phonebook, My Files, Calendar, etc.
- Screen lock with End button: If this function is enabled, pressing the End button will immediately lock the screen. This function allows you to quickly secure the device by pressing the End button.
- Fixed dialling numbers: Allows you to "lock" the phone so that only specific numbers or numbers with certain prefixes can be dialled. The PIN2 code is mandatory to activate this function.
10.7 Call settings
- Dual SIM: The Dual SIM function allows you to flexibly manage two phone numbers on a single device.
- Call forwarding: You can initiate and cancel call forwarding to voicemail, or to a specified phone number, and check the status of call forwarding.
- Call waiting: Enable or disable notification for a second incoming call with an audible alert. You can also check the status of calls on hold.
- Call barring: This function allows you to restrict certain types of calls on the device. By enabling call barring, you can control incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring data protection, security, and avoidance of unwanted disturbances.
- Hide caller ID: The Hide caller ID function allows you to selectively hide or mask your identity when contacting others, thus ensuring your anonymity and protecting your sensitive data.
- Other: The Other menu offers convenient functions such as Call time reminder, Automatic redial, Vibrate on connect, and Reply SMS after rejection.
10.8 Contacts
In this menu, you can set up your Network account, data roaming, network selection, etc.
11. Troubleshooting
Before contacting the service center, follow these instructions:
- Fully charge the battery for optimal operation.
- Do not store large amounts of data in the phone's memory, as this may affect its performance.
And perform the following checks:
My phone is frozen or cannot be turned on
- Check the battery contacts, remove, then reinsert the battery, and turn on the phone.
- Check the battery charge level, charge for at least 20 minutes.
Phone has not responded for several minutes
- Restart the phone by pressing and holding the End button.
- Remove the battery, reinsert it, then restart the phone.
Phone turns off automatically
- Check that the device is locked when not in use, and ensure you do not accidentally turn it off with the End button when locking.
Phone not charging properly
- Ensure you are using a TCL battery and the accessory charger.
- Check that the battery is inserted correctly. You must insert the battery before connecting the charger.
- Check that the battery is not completely depleted, as if the battery remains completely discharged for a long time, it will take about 20 minutes for the charging indicator to appear on the screen.
- Ensure charging occurs under normal conditions (between 0°C and 40°C).
- When abroad, check if the input voltage is compatible.
Phone cannot connect to the network, or "No service" message appears.
- Try connecting from a different location.
- Check network coverage with your provider.
- Check with your provider that your SIM card is valid.
- Try manually selecting the available network(s).
- If the network is overloaded, try connecting later.
Phone cannot connect to the internet
- Check if your SIM card's internet access service is available.
- Check your phone's internet connection settings.
- Ensure you are in an area with network coverage.
- Try connecting later or from a different location.
Invalid SIM card
- Check that the SIM card is inserted correctly.
- Check that your SIM card's chip is not damaged or scratched.
- Check that your SIM card's service is available.
Outgoing calls cannot be made
- Ensure you have dialled a valid number and pressed the call button.
- For international calls, check the country codes and area codes.
- Check that your phone is connected to a network, and that the network is not overloaded or unavailable.
- Check your account status with your provider (balance, valid SIM card, etc.).
- Check if you have blocked outgoing calls.
Incoming calls cannot be received
- Ensure your phone is turned on and connected to a network, and that the network is not overloaded or unavailable.
- Check your account status with your provider (balance, valid SIM card, etc.).
- Check if incoming calls are forwarded.
- Check if you have blocked certain calls.
- Ensure your phone is not in airplane mode.
Caller's name/phone number not displayed when receiving a call
- Check with your provider if you have subscribed to this service.
- The caller may have hidden their name or number.
Cannot find my contacts
- Check if your SIM card is faulty.
- Check that your SIM card is inserted correctly.
- Import all contacts stored on the SIM card to the phone.
Poor call quality
- During a call, you can adjust the volume by pressing the Volume up/down button.
- Check signal strength ?.
- Ensure your phone's receiver, connector, and speaker are clean.
Cannot use functions described in the manual
- Check with your provider if your subscription includes the service.
- Check if a TCL accessory is required to use the function.
If I select a phone number from contacts, I cannot dial it
- Check that you have saved the phone number correctly.
- Check that you have selected the country code if calling abroad.
Cannot add a contact to my contacts
- Ensure that the SIM card's phonebook is not full; delete some entries or save the number to the phone's contacts.
People calling me cannot leave a voicemail message
- Contact your network provider regarding voicemail service availability.
