Safety and Installation Clearances
Ensure proper installation to avoid hazards.

- Minimum vertical clearance from hob to hood: 410mm (electric hob) / 530mm (gas hob). [stove]

Ducting Options and Dimensions
The hood can be installed for vented or recirculating air systems. [ventilation] [recirculation]
Ducting options include Ø 120 mm and Ø 150 mm.
Part W is shown, likely a carbon filter for recirculating installations.
Main unit dimensions are provided, with lengths varying from 562mm to 1198mm depending on model. Overall height of the main unit body is approximately 259mm. Duct outlet diameter is Ø 150 mm.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Preparation
Mark the desired installation position on the wall and cabinet, ensuring correct alignment with the hob below. [ventilation] [recirculation]
Step 2: Unit Preparation
Open the packaging. [box] Prepare the main unit for mounting.
Step 3: Attaching Bracket
Attach the mounting bracket (Part C) to the underside of the main unit using screws (Part A, 2x).
Step 4: Securing Unit
Position the main unit and secure it to the cabinet or wall. Use screws (Part A, 2x) for initial attachment.
Step 5: Wall/Cabinet Mounting
Mount the unit to the wall or cabinet. Ensure it is level. Diagrams show two mounting methods: one requiring 18mm clearance, the other 19mm. Use screws (Part D, 4x) for securing.
Step 6: Final Positioning
Slide the main unit into its final position. Ensure it is correctly aligned with the cabinet opening.
Step 7: Securing Main Body
Secure the main body of the hood to the cabinet using screws (Part B, 4x). Verify the unit is securely fastened and correctly aligned. [checkmark]
Step 8: Duct Outlet Preparation
Prepare the duct outlet on the top of the unit. Ensure it is clear for ventilation.
Step 9: Marking Duct Hole
Mark the position for the ventilation duct on the ceiling or wall. A distance of 190mm is indicated from a reference point.
Step 10: Connecting Ducting
Connect the ventilation ducting. Options for Ø150mm or Ø120mm ducts are shown. Part O is an adapter or connector.
Step 11: Attaching Adapter
If using a Ø125mm duct, attach the appropriate adapter (Part O) using screws (Part P, 2x) and screws (Part A, 2x).
Step 12: Installing Cover G
Attach the main cover (Part G) to the unit. Ensure it is oriented correctly.
Step 13: Securing Cover G
Secure the cover (Part G) using screws (Part A, 2x). The diagram shows a locking mechanism.
Step 14: Installing Filter W
Install the filter (Part W). The diagram shows a filter being inserted and secured with a latch mechanism (Z).
Step 15: Filter Attachment Detail
Detailed view of filter attachment mechanism.
Step 16: Closing Cover Z
Close the filter cover (Z). Ensure it clicks into place.
