Getting Started with Your Wansview Camera
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your Wansview 1080P Wireless Outdoor Cloud IP Camera, models W4, W5, and W6. Ensure you have all the necessary components before beginning.

Indicator Light Status:
Understand the status of your camera through its indicator lights:
- Yellow light on: Camera is powered on.
- Yellow and green light alternately flashing: Waiting to connect.
- Green light flashing: Camera is connecting to Wi-Fi.
- Green light solid: Successfully connected to Wi-Fi.
- Yellow light quickly flashing: Resetting camera or upgrading firmware.
Easy Setup Process:
- Download the Wansview Cloud App: Search for "Wansview Cloud" on the App Store or Google Play and download it to your device.
- Account Registration: Open the app, select "Sign up," enter your email address, create a secure password (at least 8 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers), and verify your email.
- Power On and Install Antenna: Connect the camera to power using the supplied adapter and attach the WiFi antenna by screwing it clockwise. Place the camera near your router.
- Connect to Network: Connect your phone to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network (5G is not supported). Open the Wansview Cloud app, tap "Add device" or the "+" button, select your camera model (W4), and choose "Wi-Fi connection by QR code." Enter your Wi-Fi password and present the QR code on your phone to the camera. Follow the on-screen prompts for successful connection.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi? Press and hold the reset button on the camera for 5 seconds until the yellow light flashes quickly. Wait for about a minute for the camera to reset and try reconnecting.
Share Your Camera: Use the "members-Invite new member" feature in the app to share camera access with family members. They will need to download the app and register an account if they are new users.
