Step 1: Configure Your TV

Most modern Samsung TVs should work directly with the URC-1310 remote. After inserting batteries, test a few buttons. If they function correctly, your remote is ready.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of explosion if batteries are replaced by an incorrect type. Use alkaline/quality batteries.

If the remote does not work immediately, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure your television is turned on (not in standby mode).
  2. Press and hold the RED + BLUE buttons simultaneously until the LED behind the PWR button blinks twice.
  3. Point the remote at your TV and press and hold the PWR button until the TV turns off.
  4. The remote sends a different power-off signal every 3 seconds. Release the PWR button as soon as the TV turns off.
  5. The LED will blink twice. Now, test the other buttons on the remote. If they function as they did with your original remote, your remote is ready for use. If some buttons do not work or function incorrectly, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: If Step 1 Does Not Work as Expected

Are some buttons not working as expected? If you find that some buttons do not function or function incorrectly, continue to the next step.

  1. Ensure your television is turned on (not in standby mode).
  2. Press and hold the RED + BLUE buttons until the LED behind the PWR button blinks twice.
  3. Point the remote at your TV and press and hold one of the buttons that is not functioning correctly (e.g., the MENU button).
  4. The remote will send a signal every 3 seconds.
  5. When the correct function appears on the screen (e.g., Menu), release the button.
  6. The LED will blink twice: your remote is now ready for use.

Programming

Program a New Function on Your Remote

Your One For All remote can learn any function from your original remote control, provided it is working.

  1. Place the original remote control in front of the One For All remote on a flat surface.
  2. To learn: Press and hold the GREEN + YELLOW buttons until the LED blinks twice.
  3. Press 975. The LED will blink twice.
  4. Press the button you wish to program on the One For All remote (e.g., the VOL + button). The LED will blink rapidly.
  5. Press the corresponding button on the original remote control (e.g., the VOL + button for your AUDIO device).
  6. Two blinks: accepted. Repeat from step 4 if you wish to program more buttons. Long blink: try again from step 4.
  7. When you have programmed all the necessary buttons, press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds. The LED will blink twice.

How to Delete a Programmed Function

  1. Press and hold the GREEN + YELLOW buttons until the LED blinks twice.
  2. Press 976.
  3. Press the button to be reprogrammed twice.
  4. The LED will blink twice, and the button will revert to its original function.

App Shortcut Keys

The One For All remote features two app shortcut keys to launch applications on your TV. If your original remote has dedicated Netflix or Amazon Prime Video buttons, these keys will perform the same function. If these keys do not work, but your TV supports streaming services, you can program them as shortcuts using macros (a sequence of button presses). You can also program these keys to access other applications on your TV.

To program a macro, first identify the key sequence required to access the service. For example, some TVs launch Netflix by pressing Home, then Menu twice, then OK.

Once you have determined the sequence for the desired app on your TV, follow these steps:

  1. Sit in front of your device, ensuring it is powered on (not in standby).
  2. Press and hold the app shortcut key until the LED blinks twice.
  3. Perform the key sequence exactly as you normally would. The remote will operate your TV, and the macro will be recorded in real-time. Do not worry if your device takes a few seconds to respond.
  4. Once the sequence is complete and the streaming service has started on your device, press and hold the app shortcut key until the LED blinks twice and turns off. The macro is now stored.

Tips:

  • Ensure the OFA remote is operating the TV before programming.
  • If the macro does not work as expected, you can repeat the same sequence to reprogram it.
  • When programming, wait for your TV to respond first; the remote will remember the timing.

Reset

To reset your remote control to its default settings, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the GREEN and YELLOW buttons until the LED blinks twice.
  2. Press 977.
  3. The LED will blink 4 times, and the remote has been reset.
