One For All URC 1919 Universal Remote Control

This document provides instructions for setting up and using the One For All URC 1919 universal remote control, primarily for Toshiba televisions.

Remote Control Functions

The remote control features the following functions:

Step 1: Set Up Your Television

For most newer Toshiba TVs, the remote should work directly after inserting batteries. Test a few keys. If they do not function as expected, proceed to the next steps.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Ensure your TV is powered on (not in standby mode).
  2. Press and hold the RED and BLUE buttons simultaneously until the LED indicator behind the Power Key blinks twice.
  3. Point the remote towards the TV.
  4. Press and hold the POWER KEY until the TV turns off. The remote will cycle through different power signals every 3 seconds. Release the POWER KEY as soon as the TV switches off.
  5. The LED indicator will blink twice.
  6. Test the remaining keys on the remote. If they now function like your original remote, it is ready for use.

Step 2: If Step 1 Does Not Work as Expected

If some keys are still not working correctly:

  1. Ensure your TV is powered on.
  2. Press and hold the RED and BLUE buttons until the LED indicator blinks twice.
  3. Point the remote towards the TV and press and hold one of the non-functional keys (e.g., MENU).
  4. The remote will send signals every 3 seconds. When the desired function appears on the TV screen (e.g., the MENU), release the key.
  5. The LED indicator will blink twice, confirming the remote is ready.

Step 3: Enjoy Your Television

Once the remote is set up correctly, you can enjoy using it with your television.

Battery Installation and Safety

Battery Installation:

The remote requires 2x AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

Caution: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Use only quality Alkaline batteries.
