Setting Up Your Television

The One For All URC 1911 is designed for ease of use. For most newer LG TVs, the remote may work immediately after inserting batteries.

Step 1: Basic Setup

For Newer LG TVs:

After inserting batteries, test a few keys on the remote. If they function correctly, your remote is ready to use.

If some keys do not work as expected, follow these steps:

1. Ensure your TV is powered on (not in standby mode).
2. Press and hold the RED and BLUE buttons simultaneously until the LED indicator behind the Power button blinks twice.
3. Point the remote towards the TV and press and hold the POWER button. The remote will transmit a different power signal every 3 seconds.
4. As soon as the TV turns off, release the POWER button.
5. The LED indicator will blink twice. Test the remaining keys on the remote. If they now function like your original remote, it is ready for use.

Step 2: Troubleshooting (If Step 1 Fails)

If some keys on the remote still do not function correctly after Step 1, proceed with the following:

1. Ensure your TV is powered on (not in standby mode).
2. Press and hold the RED and BLUE buttons simultaneously until the LED indicator behind the Power button blinks twice.
3. Point the remote towards the TV. Press and hold a key that is not working correctly (e.g., Q.MENU). The remote will transmit a signal every 3 seconds.
4. When the correct function appears on the TV screen (e.g., the Q.MENU display), release the button.
5. The LED indicator will blink twice, confirming the remote is ready to use.
