Installation for Intel Processors
This section details the installation process for Intel processors, including backplate mounting and spacing adjustments.
Intel LGA 1700 / 1200 / 115x
Backplate and Spacing Installation
A diagram shows the backplate being attached to the rear of the motherboard, with screws passing through. Another diagram illustrates the placement of spacers and mounting bars on the motherboard screws for Intel processors.
- Remove the motherboard's stock CPU cooler mounting bracket.
- Install the cooler's backplate on the rear of the motherboard, passing mounting screws through the motherboard's holes. Note cutouts for protruding components.
- For LGA 1700, use the outer mounting holes on the backplate. For LGA 1200/115x, use the inner mounting holes.
- Place the appropriate spacers (7) and mounting bars (4) onto the screws protruding from the motherboard. Tighten the screws (10) to secure the mounting bars.
Heatsink Mounting
A diagram shows the heatsink being placed onto the CPU and screws being tightened alternately.
- Apply the included thermal paste to the processor.
- Place the heatsink onto the processor and alternately tighten both screws until resistance is felt.
Intel LGA 20xx
Backplate and Spacing Installation

- Screw the appropriate spacer bolts (8) into the motherboard's CPU socket.
- Place the mounting bars (3) onto the spacer bolts and tighten the nuts (9).
Heatsink Mounting

- Apply the included thermal paste to the processor.
- Place the heatsink onto the processor and alternately tighten both screws until resistance is felt.
Installation for AMD AM4
Backplate and Spacing Installation

- Install the cooler's backplate on the rear of the motherboard, passing mounting screws through the motherboard's mounting holes. Pay attention to the cutouts intended for elements that stick out.
- Put appropriate spacers (6 or 7) on the mounting screws. Put on the mounting bars (3) and then tighten the nuts (9).
Heatsink Mounting

- Apply the included thermal paste to the processor.
- Place the heatsink onto the processor and tighten both screws alternately.
How to Install the Fans
A diagram shows fans being clipped onto the heatsink and their power cables connected.
- Fasten the fans' latches onto the heatsink. Ensure both fans blow air in the same direction.
- Connect the fans' PWM headers to the PWM 1-2 Splitter (12), and then connect the splitter to the "CPU_FAN" header on the motherboard.
