Nothing Ear (2) User Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up, operating, and pairing your Nothing Ear (2) wireless earbuds.
Welcome
Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
App: The Nothing X app offers in-app pairing features, EQ settings, and the complete user manual. Scan the QR code to install the Nothing X app for Android/iOS.
Ear Tip Replacement: Select ear tips in the appropriate size for optimal comfort and sound quality. Different sizes are included in the accessories.

Pairing
Using with Android Devices (Fast Pairing): When the earbuds are in the charging case, open the Ear (2) case and hold it near your Android device for screen setup.
Connecting with Other Devices: With the Ear (2) earbuds inserted in the open case, press the setup button until the indicator light flashes. Then, select them in your Bluetooth settings.

Operation
Music/Standby
- Press to play or pause music.
- Double-press to skip forward.
- Triple-press to skip backward.
- Press and hold the touch sensor to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode.

Calls
- Press to answer or end a call.
- Double-press to reject a call.
- Additional options are available in the Nothing X app.
Optional functions: Playback/pause, skip back, skip forward, switch noise cancellation mode, adjust volume, and wake voice assistant.
Wearing Detection
Wear the earbuds in your ears. If you remove them during music playback, the music will automatically pause. If you reinsert the earbuds within 3 minutes, music will resume automatically. If 3 minutes pass, you will need to manually play music on your device.

Charging
Earbuds
Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the case to charge.

Ear Case
Connect the case to a power source using the provided power cable to charge it.

Charging Indicator Light: When the case indicator light flashes white, the case is charging. When it is solid white, the case is fully charged.
Battery Level Indicator: White: Battery level is above 30%. Red: Battery level is below 30%.
When the earbuds are in the case, the indicator shows the earbuds' battery level, and the case's battery level is ignored. Remove the left and right earbuds to display the case's battery level.
Users of Nothing Phone can set up the desktop widget accordingly or check the device's battery level in the quick settings of the dropdown notification bar.
