Buds Pro 2 powered by Dirac Opteo
Dirac Opteo digitally enhances the sound in your earbuds, unlocking full sound potential and providing an optimized listening experience based on patented correction technology. Leveraging years of insight from Dirac Live's unique mixed-phase impulse response correction, Opteo uses advanced measurement-based correction technology to remove any unintended resonances or sound colorations, maximizing the acoustic performance of the headphones.
Charging Case

- Smart Dial: For custom functions.

Replacing Ear Tips
Choose ear tips in the appropriate size for optimal comfort and sound quality. Check the accessories for ear tips in different sizes. The buds arrive with medium size tips attached.
Pairing and Connecting
Use with your Android devices (Google Fast Pair)
First time use: With the buds inside the charging case, open the charging case and place it near the Android device for on-screen setup.
Connect to other devices
With the buds in the case with the lid open, press the setup button for 2 seconds until the light blinks white. You can then select the buds in your device's Bluetooth settings.
Factory reset
To restore factory settings, place the buds into the charging case with the case lid open. Press and hold the setup button of the charging case for 10 seconds until the light blinks red.
Operations
Ear bud
- Double-tap: Music/standby: Skip forward. Call: Answer a call.
- Triple-tap: Music/standby: Skip back. Call: Reject or hang up a call.
- Tap and hold the touch area: Switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode.

More options are available in the Nothing X app. Optional functions include: play/pause, skip back, skip forward, switch noise cancellation mode, volume up, volume down, and wake up voice assistant.
Charging case (Smart Dial)
No function by default. Configure the functionality in the Nothing X app for the Smart Dial to work. The Smart Dial supports features triggered by rotating, single-click, double-click, triple-click, and long-press. Customizable functions include: volume control, switching noise cancellation mode, play/pause, skip back, skip forward, Voice Assistant, answer incoming calls, hang up/reject incoming calls, mute/unmute the microphone, turn on/off Low Lag Mode.
Wearing Detection
Put in the earbuds. Take them out during music playback to pause music automatically. If you put the earbuds back in within 3 minutes, music will resume automatically. If 3 minutes pass, you'll need to play the music manually from your device.
Charging
Earbuds
Put the earbuds in the charging case and close the case lid to charge.
Charging case
To charge, close the case and connect it to a power supply through a power cable. If the indicator light of the case is solid red, the case is charging. If it is solid white, the case is fully charged.
Power level indication:
- White: The battery level is higher than 30%.
- Red: The battery level is lower than 30%.
Indicator Light Behavior:
- If the earbuds are in the case, the indicator light will flash the color relating to the battery level of the earbuds, not the case.
- By taking the left and right earbuds out, the indicator light will flash the color relating to the battery level of the case.
- For Nothing phone users, you can set the widget on the lock screen or check the power status of the device in Quick Settings on the drop-down notification bar.
